This wasnt our assigned final project poem, but this is the last poem that I can find while going through google docs, at this point I graduated high school and I left all of the poems I made in that class. Reminded of the ones I made in google docs I found this; a fear poem on the real topic of fear that we were given, not just a random prompt this time. So going back into my other fear prompt I added more to it and here it is

What Do You Fear?
We all have at least one fear in us
Whether it's clowns, spiders, and even heights
If we experience it, it'll make us fuss
For this trauma is never a plus

Some are from childhood, some come and go
Some are common, some are irrational
Fear is one thing that we refuse to show
Even when we're at the lowest of lows

One childhood fear of mine is really dumb
Its how I thought halloween decorations were real
Seeing them in stored makes my body go numb
But I got over it, but there's more to come

I fear blood and also bees
Even though I never felt the bee sting
The sight of blood makes me freeze
And when I see the small bug I tend to flee

I sometime fear the outside
Mostly those terrible, terrifying thunderstorms
the fear of a thunderbolt and a nearby tree might collide
I rather not think about and let it slide

Im also afraid of the dark
But not of it, but what's inside it
In a dark hallway I run while I embark
Even though there's nothing within the light spark

The most recent one is about the unknown
Where my future take me, and what will happen?
Im scared to find out on my own
I rather stay here, I rather not die alone.

Lastly, everyone mostly fears death and dying
Whether it's  knowing when or knowing how.
Thinking about it, I would start crying
Other times I dont, at least Im trying

All in all I see myself a bit frightful
Only because things make me jump easily
Seeing me get scared might make you feel delightful
But to me, it can be rather spiteful

That's what I fear off the top of my head
Now what about you? What do you fear
We can face it, or ignore it instead
But when we can't we could be filled with dread
