I avoided seeing Luca or Whitney for the rest of my classes, and they went by pretty quickly. I sat with Gray in chemistry, since I had to, but he didn't mention anything and he helped me with a couple of things too so that was nice. I'm heading out to my car now, expecting to just meet Grayson out there to get lunch with him and the boys. I won't lie, I'm excited to get to know some of them better, Liam and Aaron may be flirts, but that doesn't mean that I can't be good friends with them, and to be honest, I'm excited to spend some time around Grayson too. He's surprisingly been really nice to me, and I'm thankful that he's been there for me.

I see Grayson and Aaron laughing by Grayson's car before they notice me.

"Hey boys," I call. They both turn around and stare at me.

"Hey! New girl! What're you doing here?" Aaron yells. Gray just smiles next to him.

"My name is Teagan." I roll my eyes and continue. "Didn't you hear? I'm your new lunch buddy!" A large grin forms on Aaron's face.

"OMG YAY!" He screams in a girly voice. I giggle.

"So where are we going?"

"Our regular spot," Gray speaks for the first time.

"And that is?" I smile at him.

"Diner. Not far from here. Let's go." He says coldly. He's back to his steely exterior now that we're around his friends. We all hop into Gray's car and he pulls out of the parking spot.

"So where's your other friend? Liam?" I ask.

"He's with his girlfriend. Wanted to eat lunch with her." Girlfriend? I'm kind of shocked. I thought Liam was a total player. Guess not. "Girl named Leila."

"Leila?" I exclaim. My Leila? "Blonde hair? Kinda short?"

"Well, not as short as you but yeah." Grayson plays. I roll my eyes from the back seat.

"I know her." They seem a little surprised that I didn't know about it before, but soon enough we arrive at the diner. There are no cars parked in the parking lot, but it looks kind of old school, like something out of a movie.

We make our way inside and I'm surprised to see that the area is actually kinda cute. There's an older looking man standing behind the bar washing some dishes, along with rows of booths sitting empty.

"Hey fellas."

"Hey, Frank." They respond. They must come here a lot. I wave and introduce myself.

"Nice to meet you Teagan," he replies with a wink.

"So Teagan, where are we sitting?" Aaron asks me. I lead them over to a booth in the far corner of the restaurant. I sit down facing the door like I always do. Gray sits down beside me, and Aaron sits across from us.

"Here ya go folks." Frank hands us some menus, and I begin looking at mine while the boys start conversing. I finally finish looking at the menu and start listening to the boys.

"Yeah that party was sick dudes," Aaron says. I immediately know what he's referring to. "Even hooked up with that Cara girl after. It was sick."

"Nice dude," Gray responds unenthusiastically.

"Speaking of that, what happened with you and Luca T?" My breath stops at the mention of his name, but I feel Gray's hand instinctively grab hold of my knee. I begin breathing again and respond calmly.

"You're calling me T now? And nothing happened. Just a rumor."

"Yes, I'm calling you T," Aaron adds. "And Whitney sure doesn't seem to think so. She can be such a bitch."

"You're telling me." I laugh. Frank comes back to our table.

"What can I get you, boys?"

"We'll have three BLT's with avocado and special sauce please." Gray orders before I can say anything.

"What you eat three?" I tease.

"Um, you both are eating, right? There's three of us." I realize what he's just done.

"Well I was gonna get a sal-" I try to add.

"Trust me on this one." I notice at that moment that his hand is still on my knee. He looks down at it too but doesn't move it away.

I honestly don't know what's going on with the two of us, but I do know that we're definitely not just friends. For some reason, I feel so comfortable around this guy, even if he was a dick the first couple of days I knew him.

Our sandwiches come pretty quickly, probably since there's no one else in the store, and Gray watches me take my first bite.

"So?" He asks. I set down the sandwich. My mouth is filled with an exquisite flavor as I chew on the food. I swallow.

"Alright. I'm glad I trusted you." Both of the boys laugh and we continue eating, the delicious BLT fills me up pretty quick so I save half of my sandwich for later.

"So are you guys coming to the lagoon this weekend?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Lagoon?" I question.

"I didn't know they were throwing parties there now," Gray says confused.

"Lagoon?" I repeat.

"Yeah, it's still warm enough so a ton of people are going there this weekend."

"Lagoon?" I ask yet again. Gray seems to notice my distress and quickly answers.

"It's this lake type thing near here. Kind of hard to explain." I nod my head.

"You in T?" Aaron finally pays some attention. As scared as I am that Luca and Whitney will be at the party, I can't help but kind of wanting to go if it means that I get to hang out with Gray and Aaron, and maybe even get to spend some time with the girls. I know that none of them will let anything happen to me too, and as long as I don't drink, I should be fine.

"Sure."
