jack walked up to me at the cafeteria with a bright smile plastered on his face, "hey zach."

i smiled back at him, "hey."

"do you have anything going on tonight?" he asked while sitting down beside me. i shook my head, "not that i know of."

"do you wanna go skating? it's free tonight."

i gave him a glare, "you think i can skate? i don't even have skates."

"i have a pair that will probably fit you." he suggested.

i gave him a small pout and he clapped, "please? i can teach you and everything!"

i nodded, "all right, all right, sure."

"yay! i can pick you up at yours at five?"

"sounds good."

he started to eat once mars joined us, "hey jack, zach."

"hey." we greeted.

"i have a question, do any of you guys know math?" he asked whilst sitting down beside jack. i shook my head, "no way! i'm trash at math."

"i'm okay at it." told jack.

mars groaned.

"what?" i questioned.

"daniel just asked me if i could help him with math, and being the idiot i am i told him sure! ugh! i'm going to embarrass myself!"

jack shrugged, "use google."

mars' eyes grew wide, "it's not like he's going to ask me something and i'm gonna wip out my phone!"

"maybe you could ask jonah." i requested.

"is jonah any good at math?" mars asked. i nodded, "he's extremely good at it."

"do you guys know where he is?"

"well, your timing was perfect because he seems to be walking right toward us." whispered jack.

jupiter smiled and placed his tray down, "hey guys."

"hey jonah." i replied.

mars thankfully sighed, "jonah, are you good at math?"

mouth full of a burger, jonah mumbled a "mhm."

mars' face became one of surprise, "oh thank god, i was slowly loosing hope. i need help quickly learning math."

"how quickly and what math?" jonah asked.

"uh, about like -- until five and fractions!?"

jonah stared at mars, dumbfounded, "what? corbyn that's literally -- five today?"

corbyn nodded frantically, "yes at five, because daniel's coming over at like six or something and he asked if i could help him with math and i don't know sh-"

jonah laughed, "corbyn, do you really think he wants to hang out with you to do homework?"

"i, uh, yeah i did, why?"

jack jumped in, "he just wants to hang out. y'know, with you. together."

corbyn furrowed his eyebrows, "how do you know that!?"

"because no one wants to hang out with someone to do homework." jonah told.

i nodded along with them.

corbyn's face softened, "well, thank god for that, because i would've been totally screwed. but if he's literally talking about homework i won't hesitate to drag you guys to my house."
