The next morning, you woke to the sound of voices. Wait a minute. You bolted up and dashed to the door, listening through the wood. There were at least three voices you could identify, one of which was Jungkook.

You mind was going a million miles an hour when suddenly you remembered. Jungkook said he was having friends over. But holy hell, you did not think they'd be over so early. 

A plan began forming in your mind and the layout of the house mapped itself in your head. You grabbed your phone as you were thinking, knowing you might need to call for help with an escape. The window in this room didn't open but there was one in the bathroom that might. 

You ran over and grabbed the handle, ready to throw it open and escape. The window in that room was high up, but you could make it work. At least, you could if the door wasn't locked. Someone was in there.

That made four people in the apartment, and you were surrounded. With your plan shattered and your heart beating like mad, you did the only thing logical thing left. 

You hid in the closet.

The more people that knew who you were, the more of a mess this job was going to be. You really could not afford to be found right now. And just as the thought passed through your mind, someone walked into your room. 

"Y/N? My friends are here, they want to meet you!" You held your breath, clutching your phone tightly in your left hand. You heard the creaking wooden floor under your white rug as he walked across the room, likely checking your bed for your sleeping body. 

When he found nothing, he was still for a minute. You couldn't hear anything and you began to wonder what he was doing...when your phone buzzed. He must have texted you to ask where you were. 

You shut your eyes tightly, knowing he must have heard the buzz and you were about to be revealed, cowering in a closet. But to your surprise, you heard a quiet chuckle and then he left the room. 

What the hell?

You turned the brightness down on your phone and checked the message. 
Jungkook: Where are you hiding, (Y/N)?

For the next half hour, you sat there unbothered until you heard the voices leave. Just as you were about to open the door and leave the closet, it was thrown open by none other than Jeon Jungkook.

He didn't say anything at first, he just looked at you and laughed. You frowned at him, but that only made him laugh harder.

"Why are you in the closet?" He asked when he had stopped laughing. 

You shrugged, "I felt like examining the wood." It was a flippant excuse but he didn't ask for a better explanation. Instead, he just chuckled.

"I'm going to figure you out, Mun (Y/N)."

"Not if I figure you out first, Jeon Jungkook."
