Chapter 23

3rd Person PØV~

Keith was having one of those days. You know the days you just want to curl up and cry. Those days.

Keith curled up underneath the grey sheets of his and Lance's shared bed.

Now normally Keith would fight around with Shiro telling him he should be on the 'front lines' as they called it, but everyone kept telling him he should 'heal'. Keith doesn't know what they want him to 'heal' for. How was he supposed to if his own flesh and blood was out there, in space, somewhere.

So today he decided to just let his emotions out. When everyone else was having breakfast, he stayed under the covers. Even when Lance tried to get him out from underneath.

"Leave me alone!" Keith semi-yelled but it was muffled by the cover.

"Find I'll bring you something to eat okay?" Lance asked the lump of covers, but it wasn't a real question it was more of a statement.

Keith of course didn't have a choice so he laid still.

Lance did bring him breakfast. He even sat next to Keith until he ate all the food on the plate. Of course Lance did give him a kiss on the head before going to give the plate back to Hunk.

When Lance got back he laid next to him. In complete silence.

"So.... are we just going to laid next to each other and do nothing?" Lance asked.

"Cuddle?" A small mumble asked. Lance dramatically threw his arms around the blankets covering his lover. "Oh how will you cuddle me if you stuck under the cover Keef."

Keith struggled to get out from underneath, "LET ME GO LANCE!"

"Mmmm no I'm getting my cuddles even if no one will cuddle me back," Lance sadly mumbled.

"I'LL CUDDLE YOU JUST LET ME OUT!" Keith muffled yelled. Lance laughed and let go.

As Keith came out Lance jumped him. "IM GETTING MY CUDDLES YOU LOSER!"

Keith of course rolled his eyes and cuddled him back. "Yeah yeah. I know I know you have the cuddles."

After a while Lance asked if he felt better.

"Yeah. I think it was the cuddles. Not you. The cuddles."
