Chapter 27

As Allura, Hunk, Lance, And Shiro decided to go the space mall for one thing or another, Keith, Pidge, and Coran stayed to make sure no one attacks while away.

Before they left, Allura found some baby dippers and the machine bird that they fixed a while ago. As Allura put on the dipper on, Pidge went to find the remote for the bird.

When they actual left Pidge let the small machine bird fly around as Liam made noises of happiness at the bird.

Liam reached above to try to grab the bird but keep failing.

"You can't have the bird. It flies," Keith mumbled from behind the baby.

Of course Liam didn't understand what Keith was saying but still tried to grab the bird.

"The tiny Lugar child has a 29% chance of getting attached to something it seems to like. The flying creature is most likely will be in that 29% chance. As well as—" Slav commented has he walked into the command room.

"Slav just shut up. No one cares, so please either leave or be quiet and let Liam play around with the bird," Pidge groaned.

That shut the four armed alien up. He sat in the corner and watched as the Lugar child continued to try and grab the bird.

"The child wants the bird. Why make it suffer more if the child is to small to grab it?" Slav asked as Keith rolled his eyes.

Keith huffed before standing up to grab the bird. "Turn it off please Pidge."

Pidge turned it off, but Liam didn't like that. When Keith give him the non-flapping bird the child didn't want it. "See Slav? He doesn't want the bird! He just liked the way it was flying!" Keith replied to Slav's questions before asking Pidge to turn it on once again.

As the bird went back to the air flapping in a circle the baby seemed happy once again.

"Number 5 and 4! How is the infant?" Coran asked as he walked in with some plates filled to the brim of alien food.

"It's Liam and he's happy. What's on the plates?" Keith asked.

"Leftovers from last night. You, Paladins need to have energy with the baby! Here you go! It should be safe," Coran answered while twirling the edge of his mustache.

"Should? Should is a probable cause. It might be safe or dangerous. There is a 50% chance that it could kill the child," Slav added as Keith stared at him.

"Do you not know how to shut up? Maybe I should make you shut up!" Keith growled a the blue Alien. Of course it scared him to which he quickly left the room.

"If it's safe for you it will be safe for the child. Don't let Slav upset you," Coran mumbled leaving as well.

Keith sighed before giving Liam a little bite of the food. It was mushy like actual baby food and tasted like Mac and Cheese as that was want Pidge and Hunk both wanted to have.

As Keith was feeding Liam, The other came back.

"Aw. He's so cute while eating," Allura awed setting the bags down. Keith nodded taking bites in between feeding Liam.
