Late Pidge's Birthday

The team had Matt help distract Pidge while the other went around and decorated the castle. A sweet 16 comes once in a LIFE TIME!

They had to make it special for Pidge. Especially since she won't have her mother nor father this year for her birthday.

Hunk had a half chocolate half vanilla cake with mint icing. Shiro and Lance were hanging decorations while Keith and Allura kept telling them it was crooked. Coran was also helping around cleaning the rooms with the small space mice.

"Lance more to the left and Shiro stay!" Allura commanded.

"Like this Princess?" Lance asked also falling off his step ladder.

"Yes now stay!" Allura yelled while grabbing the hammer and nails.

"Allura give me those!" Keith laughed as he took away the hammer and nails.

While the four of them were finishing up the final details. Hunk and Coran brought in the cute green birthday cake Hunk made.

In white icing it said 'Happy Sweet 16 Pidge!' With small dark green flowers on the edges.

"This looks amazing Hunk!" Shiro's eyes widened.

"I try," Hunk embarrassing looked at the cake.

"Don't even Lance," Keith warned with looking at Lance.

Lance who was already reaching to try the icing stop midway and sheerly smiled.

"Oh come on Mi Amor one taste," Lance smiled.

"No stop it Lance," Keith rolled his eyes.

"You two need to stop fighting for once. Now let's go contact Matt. We're all ready," Allura smiled walking off with Coran on her trail.

Matthew was contracted. He tied a blindfold over Pidge's eyes while helping her to the command room.

"What's going on Matt?" Pidge asked.

Her sight was her most important sense. Now she can't even see where she was going.  Matt didn't say anything. After a few more steps he took off her blindfold.

She turned on the lights to be surprised by the whole team screaming 'SURPRISE'

"Happy birthday Pidgeon," Lance smirked wrapping an arm around Keith's waist.

"Happy sweet 16," Keith plainly said but his eyes twinkled with happiness.

Pidge smiled and waved them off.

"Happy birthday number 5!" Coran twisted his mustache before walking off after Allura told Pidge happy birthday too.

"Happy birthday Pidge! You're one year older who does it feel?" Hunk smiled one of his famous smiles.

"Amazing thanks guys," Pidge slugged.

Hunk rolled out the cake before smiling. They all sang 'Happy Birthday' in off tune notes but no one could care less.

Pidge was devastated that her mother and father weren't there but she was overly excited that her team was there instead.

All the madness made this feel like family to her.

This was one of her best birthdays yet.
