Really close to the end now. Thanks for sticking with this!

11. Tragedy Strikes
I went through the same routine that I'd been going through for the past few weeks, and did the scene-that thankfully didn't include Tyson. But it wasn't like he was there with me behind the scenes. He never showed up-at least during filming. It wasn't until I had changed back into my own clothes and was being led out by Aiden that I saw his Lamborghini pull up.
"Hold on," I told Aiden.
He glanced at me, then followed my gaze to Tyson's car. "Is that him?"
I nodded. "Uh huh."
Right on cue, Tyson stepped out of the car and came over to me.
"Where have you been?" I asked as he hugged me.
"Around town," he replied.
"Love the specifics," I said sarcastically.
He ignored the comment and stroked my hair with both hands, tucking my hair behind my ears, then cupping my face. "Nothing happened, right?"
When I gave him a look-that chance of his was slowly diminishing-he turned his gaze to Aiden, who shook his head.
"She was fine the entire time," Aiden assured Tyson. "There wasn't any threat."
Tyson nodded and gazed back at me. "How was filming?"
"Good," I said. "I think I did really well, but I missed you behind the camera." I placed my hands on his sides.
He smiled, and something strange sparkled in his eyes, but I couldn't place it. But it wasn't anything bad. If anything, it was more on the happy side.
"What?" I asked.
He grinned wider. "Nothing. I just...like that you missed me. It's a nice feeling."
I smiled. "Of course I did." Out of the corner of my eyes, I could see Aiden shifting uncomfortably. I looked at him, even though Tyson was still holding my face. "Would you like to go?"
He returned my gaze. "You're okay here?"
I nodded. "Yeah. We're going to leave soon anyway. I'll be okay. And I don't want you to be uncomfortable."
He smiled, and patted my shoulder quickly before leaving. When he was out of sight, I looked at Tyson again.
"I'm not so sure we're going to leave as soon as you think," he said.
"What do you mean?" I gave him a short kiss.
Seemingly not satisfied with only that, he gave me a kiss that was longer and had more feeling in it. "You'll see," he whispered in my ear.
I looked at him curiously, but all he did was step out of my reach and turn towards his car. I watched as the passenger door opened and a figure stepped out. When they stood up straight and had the door closed, I saw it was....
My mom!
"Mom!" I exclaimed, running over to her and giving her a really tight hug. I hadn't known how much I had missed Mom-hugs until I had one again.
"Hello, darling," she said happily, squeezing me back.
"I haven't seen you in weeks!" I said excitedly. "What are you doing here?"
"Tyson called this morning and came over. He offered to bring me over here to see you." We pulled out of the hug.
Oh my god. I really owed Tyson this time. I loved him so much. "What about Dad?"
