And with just one sentence you were gone.
Like I was nothing to you,
Like we didn't spend months together,
Like being apart from me is not hurting you,
And here I was shedding tears,
With your name,
Written on each tear drop.
It was like I never knew the real you,
It was like I'd just felt my heart shattering.
It was like you left me on a cold floor,
With a bleeding heart and not once turning back,
To see if you've killed a part of me.
But I know that I'll thank you someday for leaving me.
I'll surely thank you one day.
And that day, I really hope,
You'll have the courage to see -
Where once you'd left a barren land,
There, then, will be a diamond castle,
Which, you can only adore from afar,
For it'll be just too precious to even come closer.
