" Ava,  wake up honey " my mom whispered to me.

"But I slept at 1 AM. " I whined like a baby.

" It's your problem dear,  not mine. Be sure not to be late on first day of highschool. "

" I am up. "

I quickly got up and began with my morning routine. So what happened is that yesterday, I was busy planning about where I will sit, with whom I will sit.  But yeah,  obviously I am gonna sit with Philip.

I have 2 best friends so how do I decide with whom to sit.  Don't we fight over it?
Nahhhh.... Amara likes to sit alone so she could focus on her studies and Philip is a great partner.  We both do concentrate on study but not really.  We make each other laugh during every period .

I still remember our science teacher yesteryear, would always focus on me. I mean you got 30 students in class but why would you glare at me as if you will eat me alive.  More than it troubled me,  it troubled Philip. Not just me,  but Diana was also disturbed of her.  We would call her KIMADA,  a famous villain from children cartoon.

I continue walking  towards the school building and to say the truth,  damn that path is hella long.  It take centuries to get into building and then hours to get to class.

" AVA!!!!! " Someone screamed my name and I turned back to find Amara running towards me.

" So where is 9 C?  " she asked me.

Anger boiled within me, " You brat. We met after a whole damn month and first question you ask is where is 9 c. "

" Sorry" She said making a cute face and I Squished her cheeks.

" It's on First floor, red one. "  I replied nonchalantly.

Shit.  I forgot.  It is on freaking red floor. The senior floor.  Where all the tall guys roam and fight as if there is no future. How am I gonna survive when I am so smallllll.

Damn.

Last year,  I enjoyed all the seniority on the 3rd floor , green floor. We were seniors out there and now we are doomed.

I finally entered 9 C which was just behind the school stage.  My eyes travelled around the whole class to search for Philip.
Diana is here,  Kacee as well. Hannah too,  why is she still here.....

Oh there he is.  Wait.  He is sitting with someone else. He is a boy,  a new comer. That jerk .

I'mma gonna ignore Philip and sit away . I walked and sit with Amara who gave me a smirk,
She imitated my voice,  speaking in a high pitch voice
" I will sit with Philip Amara  , I can't sit with you. "
" I get it,  you love teasing me Amara. Now stop. "

The classroom door opened revealing an old lady.  We all stood up to wish her.

" Good morning students. I am Mrs. Abigail.  Your class teacher and your English teacher. "

We all bowed to her.
" Before we go further,  I wanna ask who scored the highest percentage in class yesteryear. "
" Ava Johnson" The whole class shouted together.
I stood up and bowed her, " I am Ava ma'am,  along with me,  Diana, Amara and Hannah also scored the Highest percentage,  96% "
She smiled and nodded

"Now, I would like New students to come up here and introduced themselves."

There were only 3 New students and then he came,  the guy who took my seat. I death stared at him as he introduced himself,

" Hello dear friends,  I am Andrew . I previously studied in St. Joseph academy,  please take care of me. "

I won't mister.  That's all I could say in my mind.

" Seems like Ava found a new enemy. " Amara taunted me.

" Ava" I heard rather a sharp pointed voice which pierce through my ears.  I know that irritating voice.  Talk of Devil and devil arrives.

" Hannah.... Nice to meet you "

" I just wanted to inform you that you didn't get the highest percentage."

" Pardon." I asked raising my eyebrow.

She replied
" It's me honey , I scored highest percentage,  96.28% "

The heck. I laughed at her comment.
She looked at me aggressively " Is there a problem. "
" Yes, You. "
She groaned aggressively and went away.
Amara added, " That girl got guts to lie "
I called Diana and asked her, " Diana,  this girl does know that percentage in our school isn't in 2 decimals. "

Diana made a face, " She just wanna drag us down. "

Amara nodded, " Yes, she does. "

" Yo,  wassup wassup " I know this voice as well.
" Kacee nice to se-" Before I could complete she engulfed me into a hug, suffocating me . Amara pulled her away from me. She is a saviour.

All hail Amara .
