Sports events!!

Pebbles crunched under my feet and I took in deep breaths. The weather today was a bit windy and my hair were just waving.

" Don't they get tangled ?" Brendan, who was walking by my side asked curiously.

" They do get tangled . It's am expence for have long hair. At least I look pretty like this." I smiled and pulled out a rubber band  to tie my hair.

" I am planning on growing my hair a bit longer ." Brendan moved his hand through his hair.

" Why even ?"

" I want to wear a Bandana, like Shane did ."

" Bandana kinda looks good on guys ." I admitted.

I woke up at 7 in the morning, almost everyone was asleep so I decided to take a walk but then I saw Brendan on the way .

I was gonna walk around the site only but he made me go to the river and comeback with him . I was already tired but he was still in high spirits.

When we reached back at the camp, right in front stood angry Aamra. She approached me and hit me hard on my shoulder.

" I have told you so many times that wake me up when you wake up !"

Brendan stepped in between to take her hits ," Come on Aamra, it wasn't her mistake."

" Step out of my way Mr boyfriend. You don't know how worried I was because of your girlfriend." Amara said violently.

Brendan smirked and turned his back from Amara towards me , " your best friend calls me your boyfriend, so is that official. "

" Nope !" Me and Amara said together.

Amara took out a paper from her pocket and on it was written,'sports round'.

Ignoring me completely, cause she know I suck at sports, she asked Brendan, " Do you know football ?"

Brendan took a moment" soccer ?"

" Yeah whatever, we need a team and We don't have enough players."

I took the paper and it had 3 sports written on it, soccer, archery and batton relay.

" Everyone must participate in atleast 1 sport " I read the instruction.

I counted the members and we were 9.
" We need atleast 7 of us to play football. " I said .

I won't play football nor will I run in Batton relay . I have to do archery.

I wasn't playing football so i just sat where the match was about to take place. The good players in our team were Diana, Kacee and Shane. Only those 3 played football last year as a sport. But I think George and Brendan could do well .

However, the mainstream worry was Andrew and William. I have never seen them play . As I was thinking, William came and sat next to me .

" You ain't playing ?" I asked .

" Andrew will. He said he could be the goalkeeper, so I just decided to rest ."

We sat in the front row, it wasn't a stadium but a field cleared of vegetation. Those who were at back would hardly be able to see anything.

" We are playing against the most of the students of A section?" I confirmed .

" We will be facing the team with A section and our section students such as Hannah as well ."

It was a perfect opportunity to taunt him, " She will be playing as well right?" I elbowed him.

He elbowed me back ," he is playing from our team isn't he ?"

I got silent from embarrassment.

" Ava , I know you like him and he seems to like you back . You know what , I approve him ." William behaved like a dad.

" Never asked for your approval."
