School Summer trip

It's only a week before summer holidays. What the hell will I do to pass these stupid days of loneliness and boredom . I do love to take a break but I would rather go to school without teachers or studies than be at home with my sibling and cousins. 

" What are your plans in these holidays  ?" Diana asked. 

" None " We all said in sync.

The mere thought of spending these 30 days doing nothing at all give me goosebumps. 

" However-" Kacee began, " I have heard a rumour going on in school. "

" What? " Again in sync.

" That" she paused

"That ?"

" we"

" we ? "

" Are going to Alaska for 20 wholedamn days. "

There were different reactions from our side.
' What ?'   from me,  Philip,  Amara.
' When ?' from Diana and Andrew.
'when did that lazy principal allowed this shit. ' from the great William, George and Kacee. 

Kacee added, " All you need to do is to submit your names and amount by tomorrow."

George began " We are going to Alaska!!! I am finally gonna see penguins. "

Philip shaked his heads at his dumbness," penguins don't live in Alaska George. "

How Can I convince my mom and Dad for it.  I am worried.

" Mom - Dad,  I need to talk to you. "

" Us too dear. " They asked me to sit down.

Shit.  I didn't did anything wrong this time.  They call me like this when I have done something wrong .

" Both of us are going to Texas for 30 days for business purposes.  We won't be able to take you anywhere these holidays.  You will stay in your grandma house. "

What a perfect opportunity to blackmail them😉.

" B-But dad, you kn-know I looked forward to these ho-holidays.  I wanted to spend them with people I love. "

" Sorry sweetheart,  we are really sorry.  It's an emergency.  Is there anything else you want. "

" Hmm.  Dad - Mom I don't want to spend my holidays at home.  You know how hard I worked in school to achieve them.  I have been given a pretty good chance to go with my friends to Alaska.  If only you could let me...."

" Oh dear,  you know we love you too much to let you go alone anywhere. "

" Mom....  Philip,  Amara,  Andrew are there as well.  You know how responsible they are.  They won't let me go anywhere dangerous. "

They exchanged looks.

" Fine , I trust those children they are responsible. However,  I don't trust Diana,  Kacee, George and William.  They are adventure freaks and get themselves in trouble. So if Amara and Philip tell you to not to go with them , then don't go with them. "

" Thank you! love you mom and dad."

I got an Email from Sherlock school.  I opened it to find the message of me being accepted for the school trip. 

Date  - 13 May.           Sherlock school

Ava Johnson  is successfully accepted for the 20 days school tour of Alaska. The trip is scheduled from 23 May - 11 June.

We will departure from New York Airport on 23 May to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport , Alaska  .

The students have been divided in groups which will be informed to them in school tomorrow .  They will be sharing all the resources which will be provided including Vans, Cottages etc.  

Here is the schedule we will follow :
23 May - 26 May.
Anchorage ( largest city)  at hotel Alyeska

27 May - 2 June.      
Cottages at mountains near Seward ( Snow fields)

3June -  7 June 
Wrangell
( Glaciers and bear watching )

7 June - 10 June
Camping at Lake Clark

11 June - 13 June
Juneau ( Capital) 
Flight to New York from Juneau International Airport.
