Chapter 33: I'm sorry

Hopes P.O.V:

The final bell goes off, and everyone rushes out to go home. I watch Lydia, and Jackson walk out, however no sign of Alisson. I sigh. I make my way to the library where the detentions are usually held, and see Scott already sat down. I sit next to him.

"Hey." He whispers.

"Hi." I reply.

"No talking." Mr Thompson says.

10 minutes must of went by until mr Thompson stood up, and came towards us.

"Ok, I need to get home, so you both have to stay here for another hour stacking books." He says, whilst looking at his watch.

"And what's if we just walk out as soon as you leave?" Scott asks.

He rolls his eyes. "I'll know since the books won't be stacked. Idiot."

He then made his way out, and me and Scott me get to stacking books on the shelves.

"It could be worse we could be sitting there for another hour doing nothing." Scott says as he stacks a book.

"Yeah I guess." I laugh.

He was a silent before a moment before he blurted out. "Look I need to ask you something, and I don't know how you'll take it."

"Just ask." I say as I stack a book.

"How did you feel when you weren't, well when you weren't yourself?" He stops stacking, and looks at me.

"With Derek and Stiles or with um Alisson?" I ask.

"Derek and Stiles?" He replies.

"I don't really remember it, I remember bits of it, but I know I didn't mean it." I say.

"I felt the same way.......oh my fucking god I'm such an asshole." He says, slapping his forehead.

"What?"

"I hurt you when I was transforming and was so busy I didn't say sorry." He says.

"It's fine." I say I turn around, so my backs towards him.

"I don't need an apology Scott."

He grabs my wrist. "I'm so sorry." He whispers.

"It's fine." I say. I take a step back, and my backs leaned up against the wall. He then takes a step forward. He looks into my eyes, and I look into his. His greeny brown eyes, looking into my blue ones. He moves his face closer to mine, and I lean forward. His lips brush against mine. I pull back, and grab my phone.

"Have you heard this really good song called a thousand years?" I say good distraction. My heart was beating so fast right now.

"Yeah play it." He says.

I open up Spotify, and play it. He grabs my hands, and places them on his shoulders.

"We're dancing no matter what you say stillinski." He says, placing his hands by my waist.

"Whatever Mcall." I say sticking my tongue out.

We slow dance, and I must admit he is a very good dancer. There was a moment, where we looked in eachothers eyes again, but this was different. I felt something, I'd never felt before, and I had no idea what it was.

He stopped dancing, and took my hands in his.

"You are actually so beautiful Hope......I'm sorry that's weird." Scott says looking down.

"Don't." I say tilting his chin up. "You are very handsome."

He looks at me for a quick second before cuffing my checks with his hands. I bring my face forward, and so does he. Our lips touch for a slight second, and that's when he hear something being placed down.

We break apart, and that's when we see Alisson. She looks horrified, and looks like she's about to cry. That's when she marches up to me, raises her hand, and gives me one good slap across the face. I immediately place my hand over the cheek she slapped.

"How could you! Is this the secret you both were keeping." She screams.

"No A....."

"Shut up Hope! I don't want to hear it!" Alisson says, then faces to Scott.

"I trusted you. I told you I was so scared of you leaving me, and you do this." She motions at both of us.

Scott tries to say something I can't make out, then looks at the ground.

"Well I hope you both are very happy together." Her voice cracks, and runs out.

"What have we done?" I whisper. Which I meant to only say to myself, but I knew Scott heard it.

And for once he felt the same way.

First of all for my readers that have been reading for a long time they would know in the bio it said a Derek hale fan fic, well I kinda wanted to change it. I'm not sure if Hope will end up with Scott, I have another character in mind but I'm kinda debating it. Anyways did you see this coming? Double update today!
