Book I: Spells

          I started my first official book on January 23, 2007. I was 16 at the time, a few years after my year-and-a-day learning and decided that it was finally time to start my own Book of Shadows. At this point, I was still in a full-fledged religious war with my parents, so many of the spells included here are simple and contain as little supplies as possible to complete. Most of them are simple chants and charms, though I did write a few good ones. Be warned, I have never really been the "life is butterflies and daisies" type, so there may be some darker magics included here. I have had many other witches judge me for my "gray" approach to magic, but its not their story, is it?

          Also, know that I am not attempting to teach magic here. I am only relaying my own experiences as a 16-year solitary eclectic witch. I will not tell you what to believe in, or what practices to employ. That is for you to decide. My own practices and beliefs have transformed so many times throughout my life, it's ridiculous. My only advice for you, if learning magic is what you are looking for, is to keep your mind and heart open to growth and evolution. Don't tie yourself down to only one way of thinking, as that will drag you into the same whole with any zealot. Spirituality is growth, not stagnation.

          In this memoir, I will do my best to recount my writings verbatim, as I wrote them. After each entry, I will attempt to provide some insight behind them, and possibly throw in my own experiences involved with them.
