"Maggie!" I internally groan as Alex comes up to me.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"I'm back in school," he smiles.
"Oh..." I frown. "Great. Can you leave now?"
"Funny, but no."
"Great talk," I grab my phone out of my pocket. "Bye now."
I turn around and make the long walk from the cafeteria to first period. Alex and Harry in first period together? This should be awkward.
"I'll walk with you." Alex follows beside me and I really want to punch him. Why the hell is he following me? Granted we have the same class, but geez. Walk somewhere else, Alex.
I try to walk faster than Alex, but he just matches my pace. It only takes three minutes to get to class, instead of the normal four. When I walk into the classroom, Harry is sitting in the desk closest to the door.
"Mag-" Harry looks at Alex and turns back around. I take a seat four rows over and Alex sits beside me.
"Could you not?" I huff.
"I just wanted to hang out."
"I don't."
"Too bad." I hate Alex. I hate Alex. I hate Alex.
