Ever since my new revelation of James' betrayal, I've decided I'm going to slowly torture him until I decide that he's worthy of forgiving.
I know soon he'll figure out something is off and then he'll be on his knees begging for one more night with me, but I won't cave.
I've calmed down a bit since that day, but the
need to get my vengeance is still festering inside of me. I'm going to make him realize that I'm the only one that can truly make him feel good. And what better way to make him jealous than to find a new fling, nonetheless with someone in his class. Someone like Alec, who's been trying to get in my pants since the first day he met me.Today is his lucky day.
As soon as he walks into class and takes his seat next to me as usual he begins asking me about my weekend as he always does. This time I'll actually answer.
"So, when can I expect another crazy party thrown at your frat?" I ask him with a smile while turning to him. He chuckles a bit.
"If you want to come party just let me know when and I'll make it happen." I grin knowing he'd say something like that.
"What if I just want it to be the two of us?" I say lowly and he clears his throat.
"You're not joking this time right?" He asks and I giggle.
"Why would I joke about that?" I smile. I lean in real close so my lips are almost touching his ear. "Honestly, I haven't stopped thinking about you since that kiss." I place my hand on his upper thigh and he swallows. I bet he can't believe this is happening right now.
"Shit, Leila you're turning me on real bad right now." He jokes and I chuckle. "Can I pick you up tonight?"
"You can do whatever you want with me." I bite my lip and he curses under his breath. Just as James walks into the classroom I make sure to lean in and kiss Alec slowly. I hear the sound of a thud and realize that James just dropped his briefcase on his way in.
Something must have distracted him.
Alec pulls away breathless and I roll my eyes when his friends holler from the back of the class at the "score."
"Alright quiet down everyone." James snaps, sounding beyond irritated.
Oh, how the tables have turned.
The whole rest of the class is spent with me flirting with Alec and I make sure not to give James any attention at all. As soon as the bell rings Alec walls out alongside me with his arm around my waist.
"Leila, a word please?" I hear James call from behind us in the hallway and I practically smirk. I turn around with Alec still by my side.
"Yes, Professor?" I answer. I could practically laugh at how angry he looks at this moment.
"Alone." He clarifies, while glaring at Alec and he nods before turning around and waiting for me at the door. "What kind of twisted game are you playing?" He mutters to me and I furrow my brows innocently.
"I have no idea what you're talking about?" I say, keeping up my clueless facade.
"We made an agreement." He almost sounds hurt.
"Yes, we did. But I don't think you held up your end when you fucked your wife last night." I smile and his face freezes. He opens his mouth to say something but closes it soon after as he realizes nothing he says will make me take him back now. He looks like a child getting caught eating from the cookie jar. Guilty and stupid. "Don't bother denying it or asking how I found out. I just hope you know what we used to have is over." I hiss, before turning around and walking away.
He calls out my name again but this time I don't bother to listen.
