we arrived at a tree, only it was a house and a library. rainbow dash loudly pounded the door.

"hey egghead! I think there's somepony you might want to meet!!"

the door opened to show a purple unicorn with straight purple hair that had a pink highlight.

"Oh well hello!" she smiled warmly at me, "my name is twilight sparkle. what's yours?"

"I'm fire blast. I'm new here in Ponyville."

"wow! are you from outer Equestria?" she asked using her magic to spread out one of my wings. I watched as she studied my strange features.

"yeah. my father was a..."

"so can we go inside now twi?" rainbow dash complained.

"oh sure! come in!" she opened the door for us, but she continued to study me.

"would you like something to eat? spike's cooking today." twilight offered.

"yeah I'm starved!" rainbow rubbed her tummy as it rumbled.

"um... who's spike?" I asked.

"oh you must meet him! he will be very happy to know there's a creature similar to a dragon!" she trotted to a room and came out with a small purple and green dragon wearing a chef's hat.

"alright, alright! jeez I don't know what all the fuss us about!" the dragon turned to me, wide eyed.

"wow! its a dragon! I mean its not a dragon, but its a pony dragon thingy!" he ran over and wrapped his small arms around my fore hoof and made puppy eyes at twilight.

"can we keep it?" he begged. I giggled as my cheeks turned red.

"I've never seen anything that was a dragon, or even close to one..." he began stroking my scaly hoof, mesmerized by the sight of me.

he suddenly blushed and let go, realizing what he was doing.

"whoa spike, I thought you had a thing for rarity," rainbow nudged him with her hoof, and he blushed deeper.

"who's rarity?" I asked.

"you should meet the rest of the gang! there's pinkie pie, rarity, apple jack, and fluttershy." rainbow dash began.

"we should tell pinkie to throw a 'welcome to Ponyville' party!" twilight clapped her hooves at her idea.

"good idea twi! I'll tell pinkie to start planning!" she opened her wings and took off through the ceiling.

"there's a door!" twilight walked up the stairs and picked up all the pieces with her magic and cast a spell to fix the hole.

I looked at spike with questioning eyes. he shrugged "she does this all the time."

I nodded and looked back at twilight. "so when will the party start?"

suddenly a pink pony with a poofy mane burst through the wall with a blue canon and four other ponies behind her. "the party starts now!" she screamed
