not my special somepony

«spike pov»

I stared into the mirror, hoping I looked good for her. Fire Blast is going to be my special somepony. but deep down, I had a feeling something was going to go wrong.

"Spike! Someone's here to see you!" I heard twilight from downstairs.

Is it fire blast? I thought. I quickly ran down the stairs and, to my surprise, it was rarity holding a box of chocolates and was dressed up all fancy. I began to blush, but I knew that I didn't like her anymore. I loved fire blast. She was part dragon. I felt like we were destined to be together. I knew rarity would probably say I was just like brother to her.

"Spike..." I cut her off "no." I hung my head as rarity stared in shock at me.

"I see." Tears began to gather in her eyes as she turned and trotted out through the door.

"What was that all about?" Twilight asked, surprised I rejected rarity.

"I...... I'm in love with fire blast!" I said that last part too loud.

she smiled "of course you are!" She levitated a bow tie and tied it around my neck. She pushed me out the door and smiled warmly. "Good luck!"

I smiled back and began my walk to Fluttershy's cottage.

«discord pov»

" fire blast, will you be my special somepony?" I said to the tree. I was practicing my big move with a tree, afraid to mess up on the real thing.

I began my walk back into the small cottage. When I got to the door, I made a box of chocolates, a bouquet of roses and a diamond necklace  appear. I knocked, but then I realized Fluttershy would be the one opening the door.

The door opened to reveal the yellow pegasus, her big teal eyes filled with glee. This wasn't the pony I wanted to see.

"Yes! Yes, of course I will!" She swung her hooves around my neck, and then I noticed fire blast, her eyes swelling up with tears.

"No! Its not what it looks like!" I ripped Fluttershy off my neck, but it was too late.

Fire blast ran to her room and slammed the door in my face. Behind the door I heard sobbing, and I fell to the ground. A sudden ripping pain clawed at my heart, and I snapped my fingers, teleporting me into a dark cave. This was where I kept tons of pictures of fire blast.

I rolled up into a small ball on the floor. What have I done? I thought as I began to sob.

Sorry spikes pov didn't last long, but next chapter will be his pov 100%! :3
