Chapter 12

Information
Emily is now 17 and still lives with Liam, Liam is also 17 and lives in the same wooden cabin. Over the past three years Liam has taught Emily everything he knows, she has also mastered her element and is a great fighter. Not long after Emily moved in Liam got her a long sword sharper than any other. It was an enchanted sword that could cut through anything. While Emily had a long sword, Liam had a bow, which he was basically a master at. He never misses. Liam and Emily are pretty close and only rely on each other.

"Good morning." Liam said rapping his arms around me and giving me a peck on the cheek. I stared at the fire, it's flames dancing and lighting the room.
"Morning" I said sipping on a glass of blood. "What are we doing today?" I asked as he continued to hug me.
"I was thinking we might head to your old house, to get some supplies." He said " I know that you haven't gone back in 3 years, but it's an easy way to get supplies."
"Okay, lets go" I said getting up. I walked over to the kitchen sink and rinsed my now empty glass, I set it down on the bench and walked over to Liam.

I was wearing a bright pink shirt and black leggings, I grabbed my light purple coat from the coat rack and put it on. I grabbed my belt and put my sword on it, attaching it to me. Liam was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, he grabbed his black leather jacket and put it on as well. He grabbed his bow and arrows, and put them on. We both walked outside, it was daytime but it was cloudy, no sun could get through the thick clouds that surrounded the sky. We ran fast, faster than I ever could 3 years ago. When I moved into Liam's house, we trained non stop, you might even say that we're a very powerful team.

Within a few hours we had made it.
The houses looked exactly the same as when I had left. We stood to the left of the main house, and stared. Suddenly I saw a flicker of movement from the corner of my eye. I turned my head and hissed, Liam did the same, when I finally got a good look I realised that it was James. He took a step back out of shock and surprise.
"UGH.....GUYS!" He yelled. I turned around to see everyone running this way.

Jake, Jackson, Kobi, Lily, Mum, Dad, Aunty Jesse, Uncle Frank, Nana and Pop all came running over. They all stopped in their tracks when they saw me. They all stared at me, I glared at them with disgust. Mum broke out of her stare and started to walk cautiously towards me. Liam walked in front of me and hissed loudly and ferociously at her. Mum stepped back, she looked scared. I continued to glare, as they continued to stare.

"Emily, we've missed you." Nana said taking a step forward, she gave me a small smile.
"This is a joke." I said shaking my head and looking into the distance. Liam looked at me and put his hand on my shoulder for comfort,
"Let's just get out of here." He said
"No.........ummm.......you should stay." Dad said stepping forward
"Why would we stay, you all left Emily, Alone to fend for herself." Liam said taking a step towards them.
"Actually we were talking to Emily, not you, so stay out of this." Uncle frank said

I took a step forward and glared at them.
"Liam has just as much right to speak, after all he wasn't the one who abandoned me." I said angrily clenching my fists.
"Look Emily, they didn't have choice." Jake said walking towards me, placing a hand on my shoulder. I grabbed his hand and threw him to the ground with a loud thud. He coughed loudly as he was winded. I looked over to Liam who was smirking, the others all looked at me and then back to Jake.

"Emily please, stay. We'll explain everything......we'll make it up to you." Nana said
"Why should I trust you? When you left I pleaded for you to stay, but you didn't." I replied
"We're sorry Emily, please" Mum said stepping closer. Liam glared at her but didn't hiss at her. "We left to get you kids back." She said
"Great start Mum, the only child you had left you abandoned...bravo." I said sarcastically, clapping.
"Emily, just hear us out." Pop said. "Just stay for a few hours, we'll explain, if you don't like what we say then you can leave."
