It had been a long two weeks for Camilla. Going back to school, and reclaiming her spot along her friend Sheri as cheer captain, plus her boyfriend and friends that kept her constantly doing stuff had made her feel drained. Her life did go back to normal, but it just wasn't the same, it never could be.
Montgomery had been a great help for her though. If it wasn't for him making her go back to school and resume her life as usual, she doesn't know what she would be doing or how she would still be functioning. Also with the help of her now best friend Justin, also motivating her and keeping her distracted enough to not think about Jeff all the time and remain in a depressed state like before.
It was a Saturday night, and just like every other day, Camilla was trying to enjoy herself while being at Bryce's party with her friends, but she couldn't help but feel incredibly exhausted. Sheri thought it would be a great idea to extend cheer practices into weekends, so both girls spent hours teaching and practicing the team new cheers and a new routine for the next football game earlier that day.
Montgomery and Camilla were the first to leave the hot tub. On the way to the pool house, there were little grabs and touches here and there from both of them, and it lead them to the bathroom, making Camilla even more tired and making her able to fall asleep on the couch with her head on her boyfriend's lap, ignoring Alex playing a video game right next to them.
"How are you so fucking good at this?" Montgomery laughs as he runs his hand through Camilla's hair, watching as Alex continues to play a shooting game on the tv. Camilla groans and moves around in her sleep on Montgomery's lap. When she had fallen asleep it was quieter but it seemed as time passed, the shooting on the tv became louder and so did her buzzed boyfriend.
"It's a natural-born talent, Montgomery. And practice. We've been playing for, like, five hours." Alex replies as he hears a girl groan, looking down at Camilla next to him, and assuming it was her.
"How have you guys been lately, by the way?"
Montgomery looks down at his girlfriend, slightly smiling as he watches her sleep, continuing to rub his hand through her soft hair. "Great, dude. Other than when we both have practice, we've been spending time together nonstop, and I practically live at her house. I really love her man."
Alex sighs as he hears another groan, glancing at her again as she moves a little but stays asleep. "She really is tired, huh." "Yeah, she had to do a lot at practice today so she was already exhausted before we got here, plus I tired her out after we got out the hot tub." Montgomery shrugs while he smirks at the memory of what they did only a couple hours ago.
"Yeah, in Bryce's bathroom. I heard. You guys are not the quiet types."
Montgomery chuckles, now also hearing the groaning as he looks back at the windows behind them curiously.
"You hear that too, right?" He asks Alex.
"I thought that was Cammy." Alex shrugs, still not taking his eyes off the video game.
"Nah, I know my girl's groans, and that's definitely not her."
Montgomery slowly gets up, lifting his girlfriend's head a little and placing it back on the couch while placing the cup on the table. He laughs loudly as it falls over causing her to wake up. "What the fuck, babe?" She asks angrily as he apologizes. She looks around, now hearing the groans also, as she sits up and puts her head on Alex's shoulder, still half asleep and yawning while watching the screen as he plays. "What's that noise? I thought everyone went home."
"Yeah, me too." Montgomery replies as he looks out the window. "Who is it?" Alex asks, his focus remaining on the screen. Montgomery stays silent for a few seconds, continuing to watch whatever had been happening outside before responding.
