"I-I seriously don't even know what you guys are talking about!" Jeff exclaimed, huffing in annoyance. I shook my head in disbelief.
"How does that just vanish from memory!" Clockwork hissed in frustration, rubbing her temples as she tried to piece it all together.
"L-Look, w-we sh-should j-ju-just let Slen-Slenderman handle th-this." Toby said, taking lead once more. Jeff growled and sat up, rolling his eyes in a grumpy manner.
But even through the tough facade I could see that broken, confused Jeff. It was imprinted in my mind forever. I didn't even think he had actual emotions until that night. I knew I'd never see him the same.
"I agree with Toby." I stated a moment later, straightening up. Jeff shrugged, getting to his feet and grabbing his knife.
"Well then let's go." he huffed, trudging off toward the mansion. Clockwork snorted, pulling the bag onto her shoulder before following him.

"We should discuss this with the others." Slenderman said after a moment of thinking. I slowly nodded, but I was unsure if that was a good idea.
"But what about the night terror?" Clockwork asked, seeming more interested in that than anything else.
"That was certainly unusual. Jeffrey has been having night terrors for as long as I can remember, every single one having a meaning. But the problem is, is that he always forgets the following morning." Slenderman answered with a sigh, "We can only assume that it had to do with the threat."
"Yeah, but-" Jeff was about to reply, and from the sounds of it it was going to be snarky. But thankfully a knock on the door cut him off and spared us all.
"You may enter." Slenderman spoke, sitting up straighter. We all turned our heads to face the entrance.
A little girl with brown hair opened the door, her eyes wide and her hands shaky. I scrunched my eyebrows together in concern as I stared at her frightened figure.
I was kinda confused on what a child was doing in a mansion full of murderers, but that was none of my business so I didn't question it.
"Y-you need t-to come see this.." she gasped.
Can't we ever get a break? I thought bitterly, standing up along with Jeff, Toby, and Clockwork.
"What is it?" Clockwork asked, intertwining her fingers with the child's to comfort her.
Slenderman tilted his head and walked out, seeming quite aggravated but worried at the same time.
"Keep Sally close." Slender ordered Clockwork. Clockwork was already on it, holding the child close and reassuring her that everything was fine.
I followed close behind Slender, ready to see whatever was so important. I was slightly uneasy but I kept my stride confident. I didn't want to seem afraid.
Slenderman opened the door, immediately freezing. I stopped before I could bump into him, losing my balance a little.
"What is it?" I asked, trying to peek around his torso and see what had made even one of the strongest of creatures freeze.
"What is the meaning of this!" Slenderman growled, snapping out of his daze as he bent down and exited the mansion.
What? What is it? I thought, trying to squeeze through the door and see, but Slender was blocking my way out and my view.
My legs went paralyzed as he stepped aside for me and the others to see. Everything seemed to be in slow motion as I tried to process what I was seeing.
                                  "Hello there, (Y/N)."
