CHAPTER SEVEN
i'll stand up with you forever

    𝐓he blonde LaRusso roughly shoved her things inside her locker. She'd seen Miguel standing by Samantha's locker earlier, but she didn't notice him watching her with a deep furrow between his brows. He was worried for his best friend. He doesn't even know if she still considers him that. 

      Besides, his family had been finding her in the past few days, wondering why she wasn't hanging out with him in the apartment anymore. He just made some lame excuse as a response but he could his mother and Yaya didn't quite believe him.

     When Raegan saw her sister talking with Miguel by her own locker, her heart suddenly began to churn. She had no idea why, but she tried to ignore it. Like always. Shutting her locker close, she briskly walked past the sea of students. Fast enough that Samantha didn't see her. She didn't even care that she bumped into some of them. She just wanted to get out.

     By getting out━she actually went to the Cobra Kai karate dojo, and believe me, it shocked the hell out of Johnny Lawrence he almost had a heart attack. Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration.

     "Hi," Raegan said stiffly.

     "What the hell are you doing here?" He demanded.

     "Why?" She scowled. "Can't I be here?"

     "Shouldn't you be with Diaz right now or something?" Johnny retorted.

     Her brows furrowed in confusion. "Why would I be with him?"

     "I thought he was gonna ask you out!" He rolled his eyes irritably, marching inside his small office without battling her another eyelash.

     Raegan just stood there frozen with a deep frown on her face. Then the realization hit her, and she sighed heavily. Johnny totally guessed the wrong person. It wasn't her that he was going to ask out. It was her sister. Samantha LaRusso.

    "Can I stay here for a bit?" She asked, loud enough for him to hear since he was inside his office.

     The man let out a careless 'eh' in response, and she took that as an answer. Raegan rolled her eyes at his antics and decided to change into the white Gi that Johnny provided her the last time she went to the dojo. She just spent her time correcting her stances and punches here and there. Until one by one, all the other students arrived in the dojo, too. Some were even watching her in amazement.

     Raegan's eyes almost bulged out of their eye socket when she saw Miguel entered the dojo. The two briefly made eye contact, but didn't say anything to each other. He just walked past her while Raegan decided to accompany the other students in their very own circle of group. From her side, she could see Aisha and Eli (who completely changed his appearance, by the way, and was now called, Hawk), and then there was Miguel Diaz.

     She couldn't help but steal glances at him from time to time. The same thing that Miguel was exactly doing. Except they don't actually catch each other's gaze. It just made Aisha and Eli annoyed by how he was acting. They even told him to just get it over with and talk to her. However, as usual, the boy was stubborn as he had always been. Besides, they were talking about Miguel's date.
