Aaron pov

He was beyond seething, furious that he fell for her tricks again. Kiera wasn't lonely or seemed to have any plans to return to him. He should have known better since she called him out of the blue. He had to find Karla and set her straight, someone had to. He knew how she was from the first time he met her but just like all men do, he let her outer beauty draw him in. Then once she knew she had them hooked, the true beast emerged from within.

He actually thought Kiera was going to give him another chance but from what he witnessed last night, he knew all hope was lost. He didn't know who the other man she was with was but he saw the chemistry between them, anybody with eyes could see that. It took all his willpower to keep himself hidden from them all day. It killed him seeing how happy Kiera looked in the arms of another guy.

He started pacing the room again, anger coursing through him. He clenched and unclenched his fists several times but nothing helped to ease his anger. He had been waiting for Karla for over two hours and she still hadn't showed up. He didn't know where she was but as soon as she walked into the room, she was going to hear him out. Then he was going to leave and forget about the Hunter women. Both of them.

He heard the door knob turn and he waited for the door to close before stepping out of the corner of the room. Karla gasped when she saw him before glaring at him.

"What are you doing here?"

Aaron walked towards her, taking long strides to close the gap between them.

"Why the fuck did you call me knowing that Kiera already had someone?" He growled out between clenched teeth as he grabbed her arms in a vice grip.

She winced in pain, "Let go Aaron."

"Not until you answer me."

"She's not with him, I already told you that."

"If she's not with him, then why the hell did they spend the day together? Why is it that she left me standing out there while she snuck off with that asshole?"

She had the nerve to laugh in his face.

"If she left you then that was your doing, not mine. If you had acted as soon as you had arrived, none of this would have happened."

She yanked out of his hold and strolled over to her bed.

"I had no idea that they planned on leaving for the whole day or else I would have done something about it."

"Why do you care so much about what she does? Isn't it enough that you ruined our relationship?"

"I didn't do anything," she snapped. "If I recall correctly, she left you because of your doings not mine. Then again, it would have been a great treat letting her know what happened."

"Shut up! None of that was supposed to happen. I shouldn't have drank so much that night."

She turned and glared at him.

"Don't go blaming it on being drunk. You were sane and sober when you came on to me. You couldn't resist sleeping with your fiance's model sister, could you?"

Aaron crossed the room and slapped her, snapping her head to the side. She brought her hand to her face, glaring at him.

"I loved Kiera and you ruined it. I lost the best thing in my life because you threw yourself at me. Then when you got what you wanted, you laughed. A snake like you will never learn what its like to ever love someone! Your nothing but a selfish, self-absorbed bitch."

She raised her hand to slap him but he grabbed both her arms and held her still.

"You may hid behind your beauty but your always going to be cold and alone. Your going to loose your looks soon and there ain't going to be a man in the world who will be intrested in a cold, slimy leach as yourself."
