7am.

I drag myself out of bed and head over to my wardrobe. I grab a nirvana shirt and my black ripped jeans. I pull them over my panties and bra, then slip my converse on my feet.

I walked over to my mirror and looked at my hair and my face. Fuck. I look horrible. I rushed to find my brush and quickly tried to get rid of the knots. Instead of straightening it I left it to be natural and flow past my shoulders to just above my waist.

I gently rubbed a light amount of foundation on my face, and covered that with a light dab of powder because I don't want to be shiny and because it keeps my foundation from sliding off my face. I brush my eyelashes with the mascara wand so they're covered with a light amount. I get my eyeliner pen, I find these easier. I hold my eyelid, and gently draw a nice line creating a flick at the end, and repeated the same for the other eye.

I pushed my hair up at the roots to create more volume, then walked downstairs.

''Morning mum" I said still trying to climb down the stairs.

"Morning honey, how did you sleep?" she smiled. I made it down the stairs and walked into the kitchen to make some breakfast.

"It was okay" I said searching through all the different cupboards for a bowl

"Over in that cupboard" she pointed to one of the bottom ones

"Thanks" I grabbed myself a bowl and eventually found a spoon. I looked in one of the top cupboards and found a range of cereals. There's Lucky Charms so I'm going to have those. I have about 20 minutes until school so plenty of time.

I poured the cereal into my bowl and covered it in milk from the fridge. I sat down and started digging into my breakfast.

I finished my cereal and found out we have a dishwasher so I put my bowl in there to be washed.

I quickly jumped up the stairs to get a suitable bag to be able to put all my books, study books and my stationery in. I looked in the mirror at myself before making my way back downstairs and saying a small goodbye to my mum.

"Have a good first day, tell me all about it later"

I walked out the door shutting it behind me, adjusting the straps on my shoulders from my rucksack. I know roughly where my school is, it's about a 5 minute walk.

I crossed the road, looking each way for cars and carried on walking along the pavement, until somebody tapped me on the shoulder causing me to turn around.

"Oh sorry, am I in your way of the pavement" I moved out of the way for the young boy who was still walking behind me.

"Oh no, I just couldn't help but see you were walking on your own" he smiled and walked along side me. "I'm Luke" he held his hand for me to shake, so I did.

"Grace" I nodded, a smile tugging at my lips.

"Well it's nice to meet you Grace, if you don't mind I'll walk you to school" he asked me.

"Yeah that's fine, to be honest I'm not quite sure where I'm going" I said causing him to chuckle slightly.

"Well in that case I need to walk you to school" he laughed.

We carried on talking until we reached school.

"Oh, I need to go to the office" I said to Luke.

"I'll show you where it is" he smiled, leading me down the different hallways, hopefully I'll remember my way.

"And..." exaggerating the 'an' making it longer that it actually is until we reached the end of the corridor "we're here" he cheered.

"Thanks Luke" I giggled. I walked up to the booth in the office and addressed the lady by the name on her name tag.

"Hello Miss Terry, I'm a new student here" I smiled.

"Oh hello, what's your name so I can find your timetable, locker number and code" she asked.

"Grace Hall" she immediately started typing on the computer in front of her.

"Yes, Grace. I will just print off all your information" she smiled getting off her chair to walk over to the printer. She came back with a few pieces of paper and handed them to me.

"Thank you" I smiled at her.

"It's alright"

I turned around to Luke and showed him my timetable.

"That's cool, we have the same first lesson" he smiled at me. "I'll show you the way"

First lesson was Maths, apparently everyone has been mixed up so he said he might not be with his friends which is a good thing for me, his words not mine. I'm not sure why he would say that though.

I carried on following Luke through the hallways until we made it to maths class. I waited outside with Luke but he was talking to some other people that I'm guessing he knew. I heard a few girls calling his name every so often, probably want him to get in their pants. He is good looking but I mean I wouldn't date him because I look at him in a friend way.

Our teacher turned up and we followed her into the class.

"Hello my name is Miss. Reeves and I will be your maths teacher. I have a seating plan" everybody groaned and whispered insults under their breath, while I just stood there silent.

"Grace Hall" she called out. I raised my hand indicating that it was me. "Can you sit here" she pointed to a seat right at the front and I just nodded my head and walked over to take my seat.

Each desk has two seats, so it means that I was definitely going to be sitting next to someone. I hope they're okay.

"Calum Hood" another name was called out. "Could you sit next to Grace please" I turned around to see who I would be sitting next to.

Tall, nice cheekbones and a really prominent jawline. He has tanned skin and really plump lips. Quite good looking to be honest.

He sat down in the seat next to me and immediately slumped down in his chair. I could already tell he was going to be a handful.

Miss.Reeves handed out books and started the lesson. I took notes on things that were important. Which was nearly everything.

"Hey" the boy whispered to me.

"Hi" I whispered back, I could tell he was looking at me but I didn't want to look back.

"I know you want to look at me, I mean who wouldn't" oh, so he's cocky. Good looking but cocky. No.

"Not everyone" I shook my head. I think he was taken back by my response because he didn't say anything in reply.

Maths lesson ended.

If that was only first lesson then I am defiantly in for a long ride.
