Naina is trying to sleep, but she hasn't for the past few days. She stands up, and goes into the balcony to see the stars which are shimmering down at her. It feels very blissful just to even look at them. The phone starts to ring, Naina picks it up.

Naina: Hello kaun baat karaha hai?

Sameer: Meri awwaz say pehchan lo

Naina: Sameer tum ho, how did you get the number?

Sameer: Come on Naina maine kaha tha na, Preeti aur mein bahaut atche dost hai, so we have each other's numbers.

Naina: Okay, par tumne phone kyun kiya?

Sameer: Tumse baat karne kay liye, muhjhe pata hai ki tuhjhe neend nahi aarahi hai.

Naina: Tum boot ho, tumhe kaise pata chala that I'm not sleeping?

Sameer: Haa mein tumhara boot hoon, I just took a guess.

Naina's Pov

Yeh guess ho he nahi sakta hai, yeh kuch aur he hai, aur wo jab mein school mein aayi then how did he know I was there without even turning around? This is so confusing.

Sameer: Tum kisse baat karehe ho? Khud say

Naina: Jesus what can I do with him, help me, it's my wrecking my brain?

Sameer starts to laugh over the phone, she is hearing it very closely, and begins to smile.

Naina: Tumhe bahaut hassi aarahi hai? Ek kaam karti hoon, mein phone band karahi hoon

Sameer: Ruko Naina, I was joking, atcha baba I'm sorry, muhjhe maaf kardo

Naina: Agar maine nahi kiya toh?

Sameer: Toh kya hoga?

Naina: Toh kuch nahi, tuhjhe lagta hai mein kuch karsakti hoon?

Sameer: No

Naina: Bye Sameer

Sameer: Bye Naina

Naina hangs up, and puts the phone in it's place. She goes back to sleep quickly, so that Preeti won't notice that she was not there. It is the next morning, Naina looks at the time, and they are late...

Naina: Preeti utho hum bahaut late ho gaye hai school kay liye.

Preeti: Atcha hai, muhjhe nahi jaana hai, tum bhi so joa

Naina: Meri maa utho please.

Preeti: Mein bool gayi thi maa, papa, Rakesh tauji, arjun bhayya, tauji aur taiji nahi hai ghar mein ajj.

Naina: Preeti yaar.

Naina and Preeti get up, they have breakfast, come outside and see two cycles for them. Both of them become really excited since it is from Rakesh Tauji. He is very sweet with them both, and treats all of them equally. Both of them sit on it, and ride it to school.

Preeti: This is so much fun than walking.

Naina: I know right.

Naina and Preeti have arrived at school. This time they are not worried about anything. They are about to come into the class when Shanti Madam sees them.

Shanti Madam- Tum dono bahar joa, you have come very late today

Naina: Sorry Ma'am woh kya haina hamari family ko airport chorna tha early morning, issiliye hum late aaye hai.

Shanti Madam- Alright come in then

They both sit down opposite Sameer, Munna, Pandit and Swati. Preeti knows that Naina came up with an excuse, and nudges her slightly...

Preeti: Naina tu toh bari naughty nikli, kitna atcha bahana banaya, ma'am ko shaq bhi nahi huwa, kya baat hai behen. Queen of excuses.

Munna: Yeh tumne kaha say seekha?

Naina: Maine bachaliya na, aur agar mein aur Preeti nahi aate toh kissi ka dil toot jaata.

Sameer becomes shocked at what Naina is saying, he was getting impatient and worried about her, but they both finally came to cheer him up...

Sameer: Wo bahana bahaut atcha ta, ma'am nay kaha hai ki hum group project karenghe with any subject that we can choose?

Naina: Toh tum logo nay kya decide kiya?

Pandit: Abbhi toh kuch nahi socha hai?

Preeti: Toh sab log socho, agar idea ajeygha toh hum likenghe ek copy par?

All of them are thinking about a topic which is interesting for everyone. The only topic which is roaming around Sameer's head is love. He writes it down. Naina writes down friendship, and the others write down a topic.

Swati: Ab hum top three choose karenghe?

All of them look at the topics. The top three are love, friendship and holidays. All of them have chosen thier final topic which is love. Sameer becomes so delightful, that he stands on top of a chair.

Naina: Sameer neeche baitho sab log dekhrahe hai, poora paagal ho gaya hai.

Sameer sits down and they continue to do thier planning.

Sameer: Tumhara ka kiyaal hai pyaar kay baare mein?

Naina: Tum muhjse pooch rahe ho?

Swati: Haa Naina batow na, we want to know what you think?

Naina: Pyaar, Pyaar mere liye dosti hai, agar wo mera atcha dost nahi ban sakta toh mein kaise pyaar karoongi, atchi understanding hone chaheye, hamesha saat dena parta hai, agar wo insaan takleef mein hota hai, tum kuch bhi karsakte ho usse mana mein, kabhi wo hasate hai, kabhi wo rulate hai, par jab mein kisse say pyaar karoongi, mein toh direct boldoongi ki haa you are the one for me.

Munna: Wow yaar tumhara matlab ka pyaar bahaut atcha hai, hum yahi likenghe?

Preeti: Tum toh bahaut jaanti ho pyaar kay baare mein, ab batadow wo kaun hai?

Naina: Preeti tum kya bolrahi ho, sab log pyaar kay baare mein jaante hai, it's only been a month since I am here, it takes time to fall in love?

Sameer becomes disheartened about this, but covers it up with a smile, Naina is right in a way...

Sameer: Atcha yeh project mere ghar mein kareghe, we can have a sleepover as well.

Naina: Finally something different is happening

Author's note: What will happen at the sleepover, will Saneer make Naina realise what her feelings are for him, oemr will she just ignore him? Well if you want to know stay tuned?
