1st term of exams

Naina has been revising all night, as Sameer has explained that you should learn, but also take breaks in between, Preeti has gone to sleep, but Naina is so scared about taking exams. It is the next morning, Naina has changed into her uniform, and comes downstairs. She folds her hands together, starts to pray so that she is calm, and does not panic about anything. She wants to make her parents proud. Mom comes out, and gives her all the motivation.

Mom: Naina, don't put too much stress on yourself, whatever mark you will get, we will be proud of it.

Naina: Thank you Mom, I'll go have my breakfast now.

After 10 minutes Naina and Preeti are doing last minute revision. They both take thier parent's blessings, and leave from the house. Both of them park thier cycles at school, where they meet, Munna, Pandit, Swati and Sameer.

Sameer: Tum sab log tayyar ho exam kay liye?

Preeti: Kind of, I just need to pass that's all.

Swati: What about you Naina?

Naina: I'm relaxed about it, just go with the flow.

Munna: Atcha huwa maine revise kiya this time

Pandit: Warna maa toh bahaut gusse mein hogi.

Shanti Madam call them inside, they all sit down at thier individual desks and chairs. Sameer is behind Naina...

Sameer: Naina all the best

Naina: You too

The exams start, Naina is concentrating a lot, she has been revising a lot at home, which makes it easier for her. Right now she is not thinking about Sameer as exams are more important. Pandit taps Naina on the shoulder.

Naina: Kya huwa?

Pandit: I don't know the answer, please help me.

Naina gives Pandit the answer when no one is looking at them. They both put thier thumbs up, and they carry on doing it. There is a question which Naina does not understand, she tries to think in her mind reading it out slowly, until she finally gets it. She writes it down, and checks through the whole paper three times. Naina stands up, gives the paper to Shanti Madam and walks out. Naina feels confident, that she will pass with flying colours.

After half an hour all the other students come out whilst Naina begins to whistle. Preeti and Swati come in front of her...

Swati: Tumne bahaut jaldi paper day diya?

Naina: Maine toh saare answers lik diye they, aur maine check kiya teen baar.

Pandit: Thanks for the answer Naina

Naina: Anything for you Pandit.

Sameer: Naina tumne answer diya Pandit ko?

Pandit: Toh iss mein kya burai hai, ma'am nay nahi dehkha?

Munna: Muhjhe lagta hai Naina confident hai exam kay baare mein?

Naina: Haa mein hoon confident for this exam

Sameer: Atcha dehkte hai, kaun highest marks laate hai?

Naina: Challenge accepted.

Sameer: Agar tum haar gayi na, then you will do anything that I say.

Naina: Yeah that's not happening, I will break your record. Aur haa agar mein jeet gayi na toh tum wo karoghe jo mein kahoongi.

Naina and Sameer both shake hands on that, and let go of it. Both of them walk away from each other...

Naina: Samaaj tha kya hai apne aap ko, ki wo he hamesha topper banegha, no chance.

One week later..

Sameer and Naina have not been talking, they just want to know who topped. Shanti Madam comes in looking very pleased with the results this time...

Shanti Madam: Tum logo nay bahaut atcha kiya exams mein? All of you got 70% except two people. Which is Naina and Sameer. Sameer you got 97% percent whilst Naina got a 100%.

Naina comes and stands at the front, and does her signature smirk just by seeing Sameer's pale face. Everyone claps for her, as no one has ever beat Sameer.

Shanti Madam: I'm very impressed with you. You can leave class early today.

Naina: Can I do one thing before I go?

Shanti Madam: Of course you can

Naina walks over to the rival gang, and taunts them, saying that she was good for nothing. They become really scared of her...

Naina: Aley, aley, aley batchoo kya huwa, yeh Role Number 212 bahaut aage nikal gayi hai, ki tum haat bhi nahi laga sakte ho. Yeh toh sirf first term ta, aur tables palat gaye, ab ainda say muhjhe mat taang karna warna mein...

RG: Naina I'm really sorry for teasing you on the first day.

Naina: That's like a good boy, apology accepted.

Naina walks backwards collecting her bag, and leaves out from the class giving Sameer a flying kiss. She spins around in the corridors bumping into people making them smile.

Kamya: Naina congratulations

Naina: Thank you Kamya.

Naina feels so happy that she got full marks in her exams, she can't wait to tell mom and dad the good news. Naina has to think what Sameer has to do now. She has a very awesome idea in her mind.

Naina: Yeh sab karne mein bahaut mazza ayegha.

Preeti+Swati+Munna+Pandit: Tumhara plan kya hai?

Naina: Plan yeh hai ki....

P+P+S+M: Kya tum yeh sab karoghe?

Authors note: What is Naina's plan? There is something cooking up in her mind, but what could it be?
