You just look "gorgeous" like they never do,
All I hear is your voice, all I see is you,
Handsome, like a Prince on his royal steed,
Saw the trap of falling, long before I did.My friends told me not to take the leap,
And I saw the perils of this one way trip.
So I tried to take flight the second I fell,
But it's all too late, I'm under your spellAnd I turn dizzy as the world spins fast.
But you took my hand, and said it would last.
I believed it silly, like the fool that I was,
But the floor where we danced was broken glass. And we keep on waltzing like the night won't end,
And though we're in pain, we smile and pretend,
Coz the music that's playing is slow, sweet romance,
And I'm caught in your stare, and trapped in this trance. You gave me the kiss that silenced my cry,
Of the pain on wounds that bleed as I lie,
Amid sounds of your sighs as you pull at my sash,
In your arms uncovered on broken glass. But the curtains are falling too soon and too fast,
And we all see the tale for the lie that it was,
Of promises breaking and shattering fast,
Now turning to dust on broken glass.Storming and screams, I remember our lines,
Our romance now ending with one fateful night,
Singing "I miss you" in a bottle of wine,
Pretending my heart will soon heal with time.Or that I will forget the place where we danced,
As I cry with the tears I hide in my hands,
'Coz the music that's playing is still sweet romance.
You're no longer here, but I'm trapped in this trance.'Coz you just looked gorgeous like they never do,
I still hear your voice, and all I see is you,
Handsome, like a Prince on his royal steed,
Saw the trap of falling, long before I did.
