Out of breath, you come rushing in.
My notes gray out; I stop reading
Once again, just like last night's dream,
Cluelessly, you smile, singing "Good morning!"Nothing's ever really good about you,
With your messed up hair and dirty shoe.
Mom says I should study so I do;
Damn, nothing ever fills my mind but you.And last Wednesday's Physics quiz
You raised your puppy eyes with a pretty please.
Dad says if I let anyone copy, I'm dead.
Why, to you, "yes" is all that I said?We checked our papers just before lunch time.
"Wonder what's my score?" was your nervous line.
I answered with your name so I got zero on mine.
Our classmates laughed, why didn't I even mind?Clock strikes four; We're dismissed at last.
Under one umbrella, we run really fast.
Once again, just like last night's dream,
You wave, singing, "See you in the morning!"Homework for the night is Mathematics, shame.
I swear I studied till my brain felt drained.
So tell me, why does my homework say,
That 9x - 4x + 2 equals your name?Never mind, I don't really care a thing.
I close my book and hit the pillow for the morning.
I close my eyes and I see you again,
Once again, just like last night's dream.
