Chapter 20

The boys drop me off at school and I hop out of the car. I was about to walk through the gates when Jin stops me.

"Tell them they won't be able to see my world wide handsome face for a week" he says, eyeing the fans. I slap the side of his head and roll my eyes before walking in nervously. I had never talked in front of so many people before. I smile at their fans falsely and walk up to them.

"Hi everyone, um, I'm sorry to say that my brothers will not be coming in all week as they are filming this week for their new music v-"

Suddenly a hundred screams filled my ears and I almost fell over in shock. Instead of finishing my sentence, I just leave. I over hear a lot of comments from them, good and bad.

"They are so sexyyyy!"

"Why does she get to be their sister?"

"I'm so much prettier than her. She doesn't deserve to see them everyday"

"OOOO A NEW MUSIC VIDEO!"

I ignore all the mean ones and head to my locker. I got out the books I needed for today. Once my bag was full, I slammed my locker only to see Josh behind it. I jumped and dropped my bag. I wasn't expecting him to be there. He looks at me guiltily and helps me pick my books up.

"Uh I'm sorry I wasn't supposed to-"

"Oh no it's fine!" I blush. I guess I still had some feelings left for Josh even though he did me dirty. But he was so god damn gorgeous. If every girl wasn't dying over my stepbrothers then he would definitely be the one they would obsess over.

"So...how's your boyfriend?" He says, scratching his long neck. I look at him and scrunch my nose. Boyfriend??

"Um...My...Boyfriend?" I say, trying to cover my cheeks as much as possible.

"Yeah....you know...remember at the restau-"

"OHH YEAH!! That guy! Um that- we..." I put my bag onto my back.

"When did you even meet him?...He is so popular!" He says, looking down.

I am doomed. What do I tell him? Oh yeah I was making out with my brother? Ugh if I don't he is gonna find out anyway. I look down and think over my possible answers but none of them seemed fit to say.

"Y/n.."

I snap back to reality and go wide eyed. I scratch my neck and sigh loudly.

"Y/n is there something you don't wanna tell me?"

Suddenly, the bell rang for registration. Thank the lord. I roll my eyes and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Can we talk about this later?" I say, smiling, relieved I didn't have to tell him right now.

"Yeah sure. Wanna go the cafe after school?" He says, staring into my eyes, and brushing his hair back. I stare back but I was really thinking about if my brothers would be okay with that or not. He is my ex. It could be risky.

"Yeah ok. I'll text you" I say, walking to registration in embarrassment and relief.

Once registration was over with, I opened my timetable to read 'history' and I instantly lost all energy. I drop my shoulders and begin walking slowly to my lesson. I walk into history and sigh heavily, throwing my bag down on the desk and sitting angrily. Suddenly my phone vibrates in the pocket of my jeans. I take it out the back pocket and see that it's a text from Meghan.

What's up with you?!

Ugh long story...

"Y/n L/n would you like to tell me why you are on your phone in lesson?" My teacher says. I huff loudly and give my phone to his demanding hand. Me, Shanice and Meghan still hadn't done anything for our history presentation and we only had a week left.
