-Winter Break-

-Katniss's POV-

I dropped Peeta off at the airport 3 days ago. He had to spend winter break at his aunts house in district 7 with his family. I really do miss him but right now I sit in my house with my family watching Christmas specials. There is a knock on the door so I get up and answer it.

All I see is Gale before I black out.

-Clove's POV-

The girls and I are going to Katniss's house to ask her to come with us for Christmas shopping. As we knock on the door there stands a bloodshot eyed prim.

"Prim?" I ask.

"It's Katniss she's gone." Prim cries.

The first person I think of is Peeta. I turn around and it looks like all the girls are thinking the same thing. "We have to tell him you know how much he cares about brainless." Johanna says.

I take a deep breathe and dial Peeta's number. On the 2nd ring he picks up.

-Peeta's POV-

I pick up the phone to see Clove calling me.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Peeta, it's Katniss she's gone. Nobody knows where she is." Clove says.

"IM GOING TO THE AIRPORT NOW!" I roar and hang up the phone.

I explain to my family the situation. They let me go. I run to the airport and buy tickets to district 12.

"Your flight will be here in an hour sir." Flight attendant says.

I thank her and hurry to a seat. I stare at my wallpaper which is the group at the ocean. everyone has their girlfriend on their shoulders. I zoom to where it shows only katniss and I.

"I'll try to find you baby." I whisper and my flight is called.

I sprint into the plane and take my seat. Katniss, the one I was supposed to protect is kidnapped and nobody knows by who or where. I was supposed to stay with her.
