Dylan's POV
Standing in front of the crowd dressed in white tux, I patiently waited for my bride.
It's supposed to be the happiest day of my life. The fulfillment of my dream. I can't hardly believed that the time that Ashley will officially be mine.
As I stood before the crowd, I suddenly felt nauseated and my head felt heavy. Suddenly, the familiar crowd became faceless. I look around and I can't see Dan or my father. I must have been having jitters.
But alas, the door opened and the wedding hymn began. Dressed in pure white and covered in veil, Ashley began her march.
As she walked closer, the room suddenly dimmed. I looked around and saw all the people bowing down and their dresses and tux were worn out and torn.
The ground started to crumble as the wedding hymn continued to play as Ashley neared me.
What the hell's wrong with me?
Finally, Ashley reached the altar and face me. I offered my hand which she gladly took. However, her pure white dress also became ragged and dirty.
I shook my head but it was still the same. With shivering hands, I slowly lift her veil and to my surprise, Ashley's face was decaying and bloody. I turned around and saw everyone the same.
They were all zombies!
"Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!" Then I suddenly woke up.
It was a dream!
It was a damn freaking dream!
What the hell does that mean?
"Dy... Baby? Are you okay?" Ashley said in a sleepy voice.
"Yeah baby... I just had a freaky dream?" I replied and tried to remove the image of zombie Ashley from my head.
"What's about? You seemed so scared and you're sweating." Not wanting for her to worry, I just shook my head and hoped that she'll drop it. "You're not having second thoughts about tomorrow aren't you?"
"Oh my goodness no!" I replied defensively. "Baby... I don't know anyone's more excited for tomorrow than me."
"Oh hun... I'm sure your dad's more excited about it that both of us. Remember he almost fainted when we told him the date." She half joked. My father had been bugging for four years about the wedding and so when we announced it at dinner, he almost choke his food and fainted."
"Don't remind me and you better be ready coz he'll be bugging us for grand babies now." I yawned and looked at the clock and it was past 3 a.m. In less than 12hrs, we'll be officially married. "Damn dream..." I whispered but Ashley heard it.
"What's all about?"
"I dreamt about zombies." It's still half true, I just left the information about her and all our guests to be the zombies in our wedding.
"Maybe you should go back to your suit. I think that's what you get for sneaking up here against your father's wishes. I never knew him to be traditional."
"Trust me. Me too." After living together for five years, it was strange not to sleep with her so I snuck out of my suit and climb her balcony. Ashley's shocked expression was priceless when I surprised her.
"Hey babe..." She called and I turned around to focus on her. "It's the wee hours... everyone's asleep. You can use the door."
"Oh." That's probably the best ideas. Ashley will double kill me if I fell from the balcony and die or would possibly kill me if I somehow managed to survived.
