Dylan's POV
Ding! Ding! Ding!
My cousin Dan tapped her glass of wine to get the attention of everyone. "Ladies and Gentlemen, let us give a round of applause for the couple's first dance as married couple. Please welcome Mrs. and Mrs. Kramer."
That was our queue to enter. Ashley changed her shoes to flats so it's easier for her to dance. That made our height difference more noticeable. They also removed her very long train. It was genius of them to make it detachable hence unnoticeable.
It also didn't left my attention that Dan used my real surname. We will still go with my mother's surname on public but officially, we are Kramers.
We walked towards the middle with me assisting Ashley all the time. It felt really good to officially call her mine. My emotions were still at wreck in a good way.
We both faces each other and I placed my both my hands on her way while she placed hers on my neck. Ever for a moment we left each other's gaze. Her hazel eyes glittered with joy. There were no regrets only pure happiness.
Am I real?
Our song began playing and we also began swaying.
Do the words I speak before you make feel
That the love I've got for you will see no ending?
Every lyrics of the songs reflect our love for each other, and we show them in both actions and in words. No matter how soft they think I am, for Ashley, I'm wiling to be anything.
Well if you look into my eyes then you should know
That you have nothing here to doubt nothing to fear
And you can lay your questions down cause if you'll hold me
We can fade into the night and you'll know
I then looked directly at her eyes and tried to reached her soul. She did the same and met halfway. There's already small pooling in her eyes as we continued to sway and listened to our song.
The world would die and everything may lie
Still you shan't cry
'Cause time may pass
But longer than it'll last
I'll be by your side
I wiped the single tear that fell from her eyes. As the song said. I'll never ever make her cry intentionally. I'll never hurt her and I'll be the best wife ever. Her emotions were overflowing so I pulled her closer to me. She nuzzled her nose on my neck, feeling her warm and soft breath.
Take my hand
And gently close your eyes so you could understand
That there's no greater love tonight than what I've for you
The good side about her having forgotten about me was that she still couldn't remember how I proposed to her. It was very crappy and unprepared. After she fully recovered, I stole her ring and her worried sick expression was priceless.
I took her to dinner and when the second stanza of the song began, I guide her to the garden that was adored in lights.
Her heart and mind were still in constant battle. Her mind was still struggling but her heart was sure. So I did what I needed to do. I need to show her.
