lypophrenia: (n) a vague feeling of sadness seemingly without any cause

Days passed by. Every day, Emme would hang around the same people. Even if they annoyed her, they grew on her.

Every day, a boy named Brett would bother Emme. He was cute though, but it was a baby cute. Cam was her one and only. But every time she thought of him, she got really sad. She vented to Marley about it, telling her how she felt about Cam.

"You really need to ask him out. Make things official," Marley had said. Emme snorted but nodded in agreement.

I mean, it was pretty clear that Cam had a mega crush on Emme. And According to Marley, he was in love with her.

Marley was full of surprises. She had a really tough looking exterior, but on the inside, she was a hopeless romantic.

Anyways, tonight is movie night in the ward. And to make it worse, they were playing the Chronicles of Narnia. Emme loved both the movies and the book but they made her somber.

But it wasn't her choice. And she knew in a couple of days, she would be out of this place. Or at least that's what a couple of counselors said.

"Alright, boys and girls! Time for a movie," Delilah announced. Everyone moved the chairs in the room to the spots they wanted them at.

"Kids, do not block the TV," Delilah groaned.

"We're not kids," Emme whispered to Marley. In return, she giggled. Marley moved her elbow slightly and nudged Emme.

"Don't ruin her fun," Marley jokingly whispered back. Emme barked a laugh. Everyone turned to look at her.

Emme looked around the room and scowled. Her gaze met Sebastian's. He only shrugged.

"Kids, it is rude to stare," Delilah spoke. Marley and Emme only giggled to themselves.
