Alaric Saltzman was standing at the podium in the Grand Hall addressing the students on a recent event. "Given our recent influx of monsters, Sheriff Donovan and I have decided we need to take drastic action. Please give him your full attention."

The sheriff, Matt Donavan, walks up to the podium. "Like Dr. Saltzman was saying, local girls Dana Lilien and Sasha Stoteraux didn't come home last night." Photos of Dana and Sasha were being passed around to the students to look at. "Dana sometimes skips town for a few days to party, but this is a first for Sasha."

He steps down and Alaric walks back up. "Thank you, Sheriff Donovan. Now, while the knife is away with Dorian and things are quiet on his end, it won't hurt to assume the worst. Now, I'll need a few of you to volunteer to go to Mystic Falls High under the guise of an exchange program meant to improve relations between our schools. Which, unfortunately, is necessary, given recent events. Now, I give you permission to compel them, to gather materials for locator spells, because any information we can get will make a difference."

Lizzie stands up, straightening out her blazer, before turning to face the class. "Well, I guess that I can set aside my differences with Dana for a day because that is what heroes do." She turns around to face her father. "So, I volunteer as tribute."

Jennie giggles at her sister's dramatics.

Kaleb stands up. "I'm in."

MG right after him. "I'm in, too."

Surprising everyone in that building Hope also stands up. "I'd like to help."

Josie and Jennie were sitting in the dining hall studying. Josie was studying offensive magic, while Jennie was just studying math. She sucked at math and she absolutely hated it. But if she didn't study she would fail the class and that would not go over well with her parents. She was so deep in her studies that she didn't notice Rafael sit next to Josie until she spoke up. "You know, the wolves usually eat outside"

Jennie looked up at Rafael, shocked to see that he was sitting next to them.

He just shrugs. "I'd rather hang with you."

Not wanting to feel like the third wheel in the conversation, Jennie returned to her studies. Well more like she wrote down random numbers while listening in on the conversation.
