Chapter 21

Christmas was amazing. I had so much fun with the Mellet's and they are pretty much my second family now. I just woke up and it is the day after Christmas. So boxing day, I guess.

"Tyde wake up." I sat up and smacked him in the face with my pillow.

"Mhfuhslsnosd" Tyde mumbled.

"What was that babe?"

"Stop. I'm sleeping" Tyde put the pillow over his face and went back to sleep.

"It's 11 am. You have to wake up. We were going to make a video together today!" Yesturday we decided that we would make a Q and A for Tyde's channel today.

"Fineeee. I'm up. Jeez." He lazily sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"Yay! That wasn't as hard as I thought it would be." 

*2 hours later*

We finally got dressed and ate breakfeast then set up the cameras so we could film the video.

"Hello! My name is Tyde Levi and this is my girlfriend Kate Caton. We are doing a Q and A! Yayyy! Damn that rhymed."

"Good job Tyde!" I said sarcasticly, slow clapping.

"Thanks Kate! So on with the video. The first question is 'how is your leg?'"

"My leg is very good, thanks!" I said. Even though I knew that the question was meant for Tyde.

"Wow your so funny! And my leg is doing very good, thank you! Next question, 'what is your favourite vine?' And if you didn't know, then I have been going on vine a lot lately and I am completley obsessed with it! And my favourite vine would have to be any vine that was Mr. steal yo girl. What about you Kate?"

"Lycia Faith's version of stop, don't talk to me." I said.

"Which one is that?"

"Stop, don't talk to me. Loser lame ass wannabe. Like oh, totally!" I sang. I know that I am not a good singer but I can still try.

"Ohhh yaaa! I know that one! And you are an amazing singer Kate."

"Oh stop! I know I'm not. You don't need to be nice."

After 5 minutes of arguing about it he gave up trying to convince me and we went on and finished the video.

Right after Tyde turned the camera off he yelled to Troye who was in the next room.

"Troye!"

"What Tyde?"

"Can you come in here please?"

"Sure." Troye walked in and leaned against the doorframe. "You requested my presence?"

"Kate, Can you sing it again?" Tyde asked me.

I rolled my eyes but I did anyways.

When I finished Troye just stood there with wide eyes.

"When did you become a good singer?" Troye asked.

"Never."

"Do you want to sing a cover for youtube? You still have to do a video for this week! And I will help you. You are really good, Kate. Don't let your talent go to waste."

"Fine. But if everybody hates it I will be very upset with you."

"Yayyy! Let's do it now." Troye raced off to his room and I followed behind him slowly.

"Sit over there Kate and I will get everything set up for you!" Troye said to me. I sat where he told me to sit and waited.

"What song do you want to sing Kate?" Tyde said. Wheeling himself into the room.

"How about 'Red' by taylor Swift?"

"Ya. Can you sing a part of it for me now?" He asked.

"Losing him was blue like I'd never know                                                                                                                        

Missing him was dark grey all alone

Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you've never met

But loving him was red

Loving him was red." I sang.

"You are amazing." Tyde clapped for me.

"Ok. It's all set up. You can start now Kate." Troye said. he took a seat behind the camera and watched me closely.

"Hello! My name is Kate Caton and today I will be doing a cover of a song called Red. I hope you like it!" I said into the camera.

I started singing the song and time went by really quickly. 

When I finished the song I said bye to the camera and shut it off.

"Troye can you edit it?"

"Yes of course!"

"Ok thanks! Me and Tyde are going back into his room." I said for the both of us. I wheeled him back inot his room and helped him onto the bed.

"Only 2 more weeks with you wheel chair Tyde!" I tryed to cheer him up. He looked a little sad right now.

"I know. How do you think your video went?" He was obviously trying to change the subject.

"Good! I hope. Do you think Troye will be finished editing it by the end of the day?"

"Yes. He can be very fast at it when he wants."

"Awesome! Now back to you. How are you really feeling?"

"Nervous. I don't want people to find out about my depression and cutting." Tyde put his head in his hands and sighed shakily.

I sat beside him and put my arms around him in a tight embrace. We rocked back and forth. He was silently crying and I could feel his wet tears hitting my arm, after falling from his face. I was whispering reasuring things in his ear, telling him that everything would be alright and that nobody would find out.

"Kate! The video is up!" Troye yelled coming into the room. "Oh ummm..." He said when he saw what we were doing.

"Wow. That only took like 5 minutes." 

"No. It took 3 hours. You guys have been here cuddling for a while!"

"Oh ok. Thanks for editing my video and putting it up! I really owe you."

"No problem. I'll help you anytime. And have you checked your youtube in a while?"

"No. Last time I was on youtube was 2 days before Christmas."

"Well you should probably check it." Troye winked at me and walked away.

"Are you feeling better now Tyde?"

"Yes. Thank you for staying with me. You should go check your channel."

"Ok." I opened youtube on my phone and went to my channel homepage.

"OH MY GOODNESS! HOLY SHIT! I HAVE HALF A MILLION FOLLOWERS! When did this happen?" I screamed and jumped around the room.

"I am so proud of you! We can finally go to youtube events togethor and we will get to see each other more!"

I ran over and gave him the biggest hug that I could. I ended up tackleing him on the bed and lieing on top of him without hurting his legs.

"I can't believe this happened. I love you Tyde."

"I love you too! I always will."
