Chapter 20

helllooo! since this is the 20th chapter I decided to put christmas in this one! I can't believe that this is already at the 20th chapter! i feel like I just started it yesturday!!!!!!!!!

*Christmas Day*

I was awoken by a very excited looking Troye, who was jumping on the end of Tyde and I's bed.

"Get out Troye!" I whisper-yelled at him.

"We are trying to sleep!" Tyde added.

"How can you sleep when there are CHRISTMAS PRESENTS TO OPEN!?!?!?" He yelled and ran out of our room.

"Yay! It's Christmas, let's go open presents." Tyde said, immediatly sitting up and tugging on my arm. I am usually the first person up in the morning but Tyde kept me up last night. WE WERE PLAYING CARD'S YOU NASTIES!

"Ok. I'm up, I'm up!" I got out of the bed and helped Tyde into his wheelchair. He has 3 more weeks in his wheelchair but he has to keep the gauze on for another month. Just so he doesn't get an infection.

We walked into the living room and there were lots and lots of presents under the Christmas tree that we set up a couple days ago. Everybody was already there, still in their pajamas, waiting for us. I sat down on the couch and helped Tyde seat on the seat next to me.

They started opening presents and I just sat there and watched them. I loved seeing the smile light up Tyde's face when he got something that he really wanted.

"What are you doing Kate?" Chris asked me.

"Watching you all open your presents."

"Why aren't you opening yours?"

"I don't have any."

"Yes you do. Look under the tree." 

And sure enough, when I looked under the tree there were a couple boxes and bag's with my name written on them in big, capitol letters.

"You guys didn't have to get me anything, you know!" I really wasn't expecting any presents. Them just letting me stay here is a good enough gift.

"What is a Christmas without presents?" Tyde asked me. I just smile at him in response.

I got a couple of my presents from under the tree and brought them to the couch so I could open them. The others had finished opening their presents already and were watching me open mine.

The first one that I picked up was the size of a jewlery box and it was wrapped in really pretty pink wrapping paper.

"That one is from me." Sage said and pointed to the small box that was in my hand.

I unwrapped it and it was a pandora box.

"You really didn't have to get me anything. And pandora is really expensive Sage."

"Oh just open the damn box!" Sage shouted.

I opened the box and inside was a beautiful silver pandora charm bracelet. It had a single charm on it, a little heart that said sister on it.

"I've always wante a sister. And now I finally have one." Sage said and got up from the spot she was sitting at and gave me a great big bear hug.

"I feel the same way. Except I have a little sister already but I have always wanted a big sister!" I said. Sage sat back down on the floor.

I picked up the next one and it was a lot bigger. It was a big blue bag and said that it was from Troye.

I opened the bag and saw a neon green penny board with purple wheels.

"TROYE I LOVE IT!!!!!!" I scream. I got up and gave him a hug.

"No problem. I can teach you how to penny board if you want." Troye suggested.

"Thank you so much!" I sat back down on the couch and picked up the second last present. It was from Laurelle and Chris.

I opened it and saw cloths, cloths, and more cloths. I started to look through them and I realised that they were really cute!

"Thank you so much! I love them!" I squeled. Did I just squel? Ya, never doing that again.

"Look through the bag! There is something else at the bottom." Laurelle said, gesturing to the bottom of the gift bag.

I searched through the bag and found a small gift-wrapped box at the bottom of the bag.

"What's this?"

"Open it and find out." Laurelle said, clapping her hands togethor.

I opened it and gasped. I put it down and stood up, before jumping around and screaming like a 2 year old.

"THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!" I gave Laurelle and Chris the biggest hug's in the world.

In the box was a brand new iPhone 6. They weren't even out yet!

"How did you get it? They are not even out yet!" I asked and sat back done again.

"My brother works in the apple company, so we get a lot of new devices before they come out!" Chris explained.

"I love it! Thank you so much." I said for the thousandth time.

"Open my present Kate!" Tyde said. Placing a little box in my lap.

I picked it up and undid the wrapping paper. It was another pandora box. Damn, this family is spending a lot of money on me!

I opened the box and there was a cute heart charm. It had the infinty sigh on it.

"Flip it over." Tyde said pointing to the charm.

I flipped it over in my hand and saw that Tyde+Kate was inscribed into the little silver charm.

"I love it so much thank you Tyde!" I gave him a big hug.

"I have soemthing else for you later." Tyde whisperd in my ear when I hugged him.

'Thank you all for the amazing presents! I love them all so much and I wasn't even expecting anything." I announced.

"No problem." They all said at the same time.

"Your worth it." Tyde added. Pulling me close to his side.

"Breakfeast!" Troye said. "I'm coming, Nutella!" Troye shouted as he ran into the kitchen.

Everybody followed him except Tyde and I. I was trying to put my new bracelet on but I was having some trouble.

"Let me help." Tyde took the bracelet from me and clasped it around my wrist, with no problem. When his hand accidently brushed my arm I felt electricity pulse through my veins.

"Let's go get some food." I said.

I pulled Tyde up and helped him over to the wheelchair. When he was comfortable, I pushed him into the kitchen and over to the table. I got us our cereal and sat down beside Tyde, pushing the bowl of cereal in front of him.

"Bon apetit!" I said and started shoveling spoonfull's of cereal into my mouth... I am a bit hungry. I started choking on my food and I probably sounding like a dyeing walrus.

Tyde started laughing at me and I just gave him the deadliest death glare that I could. I love my food.
