Jace's POV
"Where is she?" I said as I turned to face him, he had a slight smirk on his face, his black eyes staring directly into mine, his hand on his sword as he glanced around at the three of us, probably planning how to attack.
However I wasn't going to wait for him to figure it out. I charged him with both my seraph blades ready. He was shocked at first but then side stepped me, and slashed at my stomach, but I brought my blades down and deflected his swords path. He turned to face me and jabbed at my stomach. I caught the sword with the corner of my intersecting blades and threw it to the side. As he came to swing again I but I deflected the sword once more at the same time that I brought my sword across his arm. He looked up at me more angry then in pain, but he didn't have time to come at me again because a whip was around his ankles and pulled him down.
He tried to get up but I was already on him, my blade at his throat.
"Where is she!?"
"I'm sorry little brother, but who is this 'she' you are referring to?" he asked
"Stop playing games and tell me where she is or I swear on the angel I will slit your throat."
"And I swear on the angel I don't know who your talking about, nor do I have anyone captive with me at the moment, but seeing how you are handling the situation I'm going to guess your looking for Clary" He said with sincere eyes as he said the first part.
"Swearing on the angel means nothing to you, you demon."
"Fine then I swear on the mother of all demons that I don't have my sister."
But after he said that he jerked his body too quickly for me to have time to stop him. He got out from under me and was on his feet already as I rolled and held up a seraph blade to deflect an incoming strike. The only problem was there was no attack coming, he was just standing in a defensive position.
"Now" I don't have her but I know who does so I suggest you don't attack me."
"I'll be the one to decide that" I snarled, "Now spill, who has her?!"
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you so I might as well not foil her captors plans, he can do more damage to me with her on his side then you can without her."
I was about to launch myself at him when Alec then spoke up;
"We swear on the angel not to attack you here if you tell us who took her."
"That's a bold swear Mr. Lightwood."
"Please, you loved Clary once, you might even still love her, and so do we, but I am almost positive the person who has her doesn't feel the same way." Isabelle said, her eyes pleading.
"Oh, you a certainly right about that, although he should love her, he doesn't, he does love her power though." He said with a smirk.
"Sebastian" I growled, "This is your last chance."
"Ha" He scoffed," I'm not afraid of any of you, however your in luck because I don't want to work with him anymore."
"Who?" Magnus almost screamed
Sebastian smirked "Valentine"
Clary's POV
Teddy was right, five seconds after she said they were coming the door opened, and Tyron entered walking right up to my cell and opening the door to it. Just like yesterday I was led down a series of hallways until I reached the familiar black and white room I fought in yesterday. Once again Tyron locked the door, behind me and Valentines ugly face appeared on the wall screen.
"Ready for round two?" he said with a grin
I scolded him, trying to ignore the throbbing pain in my shoulder.
"Just as I thought don't worry this will be more fun then yesterday. Now pick out your weapon."
I walked over to the table, and saw that Teddy was right, the seraph blade was missing. I picked up the two knife quivers, and strapped them on opposite sides so I could reach either hand up to grab a knife. I turned back towards the screen, and drew a knife in both my hands.
"Interesting choice, well enjoy the fun Clary, I know I will." And with that the screen turned back into a wall and I
I heard the door open.
I took a deep breath and turned to face the oncoming demons. The front two started to sprint at me, I waited for then to get within fifteen feet before throwing my left knife into the right demons heart, and the right knife into the left demons chest. I groaned as my shoulder resisted the movement, and I felt the bandages loosen slightly.
The next two demons took a slower approach, as they walked in a single file line towards me. I began to take steps back before I surprised them by running ahead towards them. I was five feet away from the one in front when I jumped and threw a knife deep into the front demons back, while I took another knife, landed on the back demon, and stabbed in through its back and into the heart.
Both turned into incor as I saw four more demons coming towards me. I threw a knife into the closest demons head, then turned and ran for a wall. I took a step off the wall to push my body into a momentum driven flip. I extended my left arm and sliced through the a demons neck, then turned and stabbed the another one with my back turned to it, and the knife held backwards in my palm.
I was feeling pretty triumphant about my effort just as I looked up and was tackled, my head slamming against the wall, a demon holding me by the collar of my shirt. The demon laughed, and believe me when I say his breath reeked.
"Poor little shadow hunter, all alone, no one to rescue you" he said as he brought my head down forcefully on the wall again, sending stars into my vision.
"Master told us we could do what ever we wanted to you, besides bite, until you lose you consciousness, so I intend to do as much as I can before that. You know where the most painful place to be stabbed or cut with is? It's not the stomach or head, but rather the thigh, because it's so packed with muscle, and blood transport arteries."
Just as he said that, I felt the most excruciating feeling I've ever felt. His claw was slowly pushing itself deeper and deeper into my left thigh. I opened my mouth as if to scream, but nothing came out. I felt the claw break skin on the opposite side of my leg, then pull out just as slowly as it was when it dug its hole. I was completely drained of energy after the demons show case.
"Now that was fun wasn't it?" He asked when I didn't respond he shoved his fist and me back into the wall, but dropped me this time. My head smacked against both the wall and the floor, and I knew I only had second before pain took over. I felt warm wetness spread around my body, my blood. The demon bent down so his face was next to mine.
"Not so tough now are you shadow hunter?"
I moved quicker then I thought possible with my injuries, and grabbed a knife and swiftly shoved it into his torso, as incor spread everywhere.
I felt myself losing the war of consciousness, as the oozing blood out of my leg, the dots that were dancing in my vision, and my pounding head and ears got the best of me, and I fell into an oblivion of darkness.
