"Where have you really been, Mia?"
I sighed "I auditioned..."
"You what?" she asked
"I auditioned for The Swan..."
"Mia, I told you I didn't want you to dance! You disobeyed me and then you lied about it!"
Her words were like fire. I could feel her stare. "I....I...I'm sorry..I just really want to dance. I finally found something that I love doing."
She sighed. You could tell she was thinking over what I said. "Mia, I just want what's best for you and Lilly. How are you going to support her when you're off dancing instead of getting a real job. But.....if you get a role....you can dance...ONLY this once! Now go to your room without dinner for lying."
I was shocked and happy. I gave her a quick hug and darted up the stairs to my room.
Since I was hungry I decided to get my mind off of it and do what I love doing.
