"Meeeeeeaaahhhh...."
I turned over in my bed to face the little voice. "Hmmm?.."
"Meeah! Wake up!" Lilly shook me.
Lilly was another foster child that had grown as close as a little sister to me. We have been together for about 3 years. She is 5 years old has light brown hair and light blue eyes. Sort of like me but my hair is darker. She is super tiny but super energetic. Just like a hummingbird. That's why I call her "Lilly Bird".
"Why? It's Saturday..."
"They are coming to adopt us!!! A family is coming for dinner and they are looking to adopt some kids!!!" she was so excited.
I just nodded. I know how it was going to work out. They would adopt Lilly and leave me. No one wants a teenager.
"Mia....I love you..don't ever leave me....promise?" she whispered in my ear.
I almost cried. But I couldn't infront of Lilly.
