Chapter 7: Meeting the Johnsons

Chp 7

"Mia, they're here!!" shouted Lilly. She was so excited. She must've liked them.

"Shhhh...I know.." the doorbell rang

"Hi! How are you guys?" they both bent down and hugged Lilly, then turned to me.

"You are so beautiful. I'm Claire" she said pulling me into a hug. She was about 23. She had brown-blonde hair, brown eyes, and perfect teeth. Her eyes were so calming and gentle. I felt like u could trust her. She wasn't going to hurt me. She looked familiar.

"Thank you...." I said, returning the warm smile.

She walked in the other room. I talked to Mr. Johnson.

"Hello, Mr Johnson." he had dark hair and dark eyes.

He smiled and kind of laughed. "You can call me Matt" he said winking.

We walked in the dining room. Dinner was on the table.

We sat down and continued talking while serving food.

All through dinner I realized a connection. We all laughed and carried on telling stories.

"Clare, are you a dancer? I asked. You could tell by the way she walked and moved.

"Yes! How did you know? My mom actually is a dance teacher not too far from here." I almost spit out my food.

"Miss Toplin? Your mom is Miss Toplin?" I knew she looked familiar.

"Yeah, you know her?"

"Im in The Swan. I actually am the White Swan."

"No way! I thought Ashley was going to be the White Swan?"

"Uhhhh....she's the black one."

She laughed.

"Sooo...do you know ummm Harry?" I asked

"Oh yes, nice boy....I know his parents."

I loved her! I looked over to where Matt abd Lilly were giggling. They looked so happy. Then, Matt and Clare looked at Dottie.

"Uhhh...girls could you...could you go to your rooms for a bit?"

We both took our dishes to the sink abd headed up stairs.

"Mia, I love them...I hope they love us. I want them to be our mommy and daddy." she said, climbing on my stomach.

30 mins later

"Girls!" Dotties muffled voice could be heard.

We rushed down stairs. They all had sad looks. Oh no.....please no

"Girls, we have decided....and it's not good news....but....you are going to be moving!" Clare said.

"We want you to be apart of our family..." Matt said.

Lilly ran into Matt's arms. I just stood there. I couldn't believe it. I have a family now. A smile creeped on my face and tears came down. Lilly was laughing.

She leaned over and whispered in my ear.

"I told you I wouldn't leave without you" she smiled her big smile.
