Marinette. She's been staring at me all day. Yet a word has yet to come out of her mouth.
Then there's Ladybug. Something is definitely up with her and she won't tell me-I mean Cat.
Bluebell eyes now a stormy grey... That doesn't just happen right?
I mean, maybe it can happen over time, but last I saw her, those piercing eyes of hers were as clear at the light blue sky above us. Surely they couldn't have changed into grey within the span of several days, right?
Ladybug is so strong, so independent. There's no way she did it because she's insecure. She's so very sure of herself. She always has a plan and she's an amazing fighter.
She's inspired everyone across this great city of ours. Ladybug is a role model for so many people. There's no way. She can't be akumatized.
Because if she is... Paris is lost.
"Dude, Adrien? You okay?"
"N-Nino? I-"
"Finally dude. School finished ten minutes ago and Gorilla's waiting for you outside," he told me, pointing outside.
I looked out the window and sure enough Gorilla was waiting for me in the limo.
I sighed and packed my belongings.
"A-Adrien! I-I-I-WOAH!"
"Marinette!"
I quickly caught my new classmate, preventing her from following down what few steps remained.
"Ah! Ah, thank you A-Adrien!" she stammered, swift to regain her footing.
"You're welcome Marinette. Is there anything I can do for you?"
"Oh, yes! I-I mean n-n-no! Ah! Wait. I have a question!" she blurted out, tripping over her words.
I sent her a patient smile with kind eyes. "Ask away."
"Y-Y-Your ring! I-Is, um... D-Does it h-h-hold some importance to m-I MEAN YOU!"
My miraculous?
"I, uh, yeah. I guess you could say so," I replied nervously with a shrug.
"O-Oh! Well i-i-it really suits you!" she commented. "Bye. See you tomorrow!"
Nino and I waved her off, the two of us soon following in her footsteps in order to return home.
