Writer's Note: This one shot is actually based on, not just the song "love the way you lie," but a dream I recently had.
WARNING: Some physical and mental abuse.
Tj X Josh (random character I made up)
Tj's POV:
Here we are again. He's drunk and I'm the only other one in the house. I'm not going to show any resistance, not this time. If he wants me, I'll let him. I'm powerless against him. The scars, cuts and bruises that ran across my back from past battles are proof, enough that I stand no chance against him.
As Josh comes closer to me, I began to shiver in fear. This is it. This is the moment I, once more, loose everything that makes me strong. He slaps me hard across my cheek and I fall to the floor. Is this what love really is? He then grabs my belt, undoing the buckle and sliding his hand down my pants.
"You're nothing, Tj." He says in a seductive voice, which only makes me even more scared. "Nothing but a filthy little whore. And I intend to show you just how dirty you are." I began to cry as he slips my jeans off and began to straddle my thighs.
I don't want to go any deeper into detail, but I'm sure you know what happens next.
The next morning, I awoke with another set of bruises on my arms and back. When will this cycle end? I can't tell my friends, they'll just think I'm a pussy. Fuck, I can't even tell my mom. She'll just say I deserve it all. I have no one. I look at the alarm clock on the night stand, realizing what time it is. Nine twenty three. Thrasher's supposed to come over today and I'm not even ready. I've only got seven minutes to get dressed. As I hurriedly grab a long sleeve shirt from the dresser, I could hear Josh open the front door. Good thing I still have my jeans on from after...you know.
"Is Tj here?" Thrasher asked as I run down the stairs.
"Good morning, Kev." I say, trying to hide the pain in my voice.
"Morning!" Thrasher replied. "You ready?"
"Yeah." I faked a smile, trying to make him believe nothing was wrong. "I'll see you later, babe." With that, I kiss Josh on the lips, attempting to give the illusion that we love each other, just before walking out the door.
"What's going on?" Thrasher asked, concerned, as I closed the passengers door to his car.
"What are you talking about?" I question, trying to act like I have no idea what he means.
"I've seen the way you've been acting lately. You're hurt. I can tell." Kevin gave me a look of 'I know what you're going through, I just want you to say it.'
"It's nothing." I reply, still trying to maintain the illusion of nothing being wrong.
"Okay." Thrasher sighs out, starting the car and driving off. Secretly, I hope he actually does know what's going on. And that he gets me the help I need.
