The upside

As much as I loved Jesse it's a little annoying how protective he is.

"Rachel," Jesse said, "My parents are coming to town tomorrow, and I kinda told them about are situation."

"And?" I wondered

"They want to meet you." He finished

"Are you hesitant because you think they might embarrass you?" I asked

"Their not exactly the most supportive people in the world." He said

"So what? I'm a big girl I can handle unsupportive parents." I told him

"I think tour underestimating them. Imagine me but a thousand times worse." He scolded.

"It's too awful to imagine." Jesse laughed.

"Jesse," I paused "I love you more than myself, and that's saying a lot. Without their support it's going to affect you more than me. Not to mention I haven't even met them."

"I love you so much." He stroked my cheek.

"Quinn's gonna be here any minute to pick out baby stuff."  Jesse said.

"Quinn why do we have to buy this bib. Instead of this one?" Jesse held up the two bib options.

"Because this one is washer friendly. And unless you want to hand wash the bib every time the baby spits up on it you should buy this one."

"What about this bottle?" I asked.

"It's not bpa free."

"Oh Jesse look at this binki." I smiled. Quinn face changed my mind.

"What's wrong now."

"That brand had a lawsuit for selling contaminated baby formula."

"How do you know so much?" Jesse asked I was wondering the same thing.

"For a weeks during my pregnancy I considered keeping Beth. But I had to look all this stuff up."

"These plates are all wrong." Hiram said. There was a knock at the door.

"Quinn's here." Finn said. I didn't expect Jesse to be nervous but for some reason he wasn't. I covered my face then ran to the bathroom to throw up. "Are you okay Rach?" Jesse asked me while coming down to the floor with me.

"Just nervous I guess." I answered

"Their gonna love you, how could they not?" He reassured me that I watched Finn hold his breath down the hallway.

"Their here!" Quinn yelled I looked out the window to see them stepping out of a black Porsche.

"Hello." Quinn welcomed them. They made a disgusted face.

"This house is quaint, isn't it Stewart?" His mom said

"Hi mom, hey dad." Jesse stepped closer to them.

"Yes, hello," His dad said looking directly at me. "Is this her, son?"

"Yes this is Rachel, my only love. "

"Didn't Miss. Corcoran send you to date her." The mom asked.

"I started dating her before, Shelby asked me to reveal to her that she was her mom." He said

"Guys dinner is finished." Quinn saved us from that awkward conversation. My dad's reached their hands out to shake his parents hands but they rejected it. "Who is this? His dad asked

"That's Finn." Jesse said. "He's Rachel's friend." He finished

"Isn't Finn the one that kissed her onstage at nationals." The dad asked. Everyone nodded

"Well you sure have a lot of nerve wrecking my son's heart." I looked around the room at everybody but his parents holding their breath.

"Rachel sweetie will you come here please? His mom asked. I let go of Jesse's hand and walked over even though I was petrified.

His mom squeezed my cheeks

"May I?"she asked to feel the baby.

"Yeah I'm only ten weeks so you might not be able to feel it." I told her. She felt my stomach. "I can kinda feel it." She said.

"Jesse says that too."

"Like mother like son. Your so lucky, you found you love early." She finished.

"Someone's at the door." Finn said while he was answering it

"Come in!" I yelled Jesse's always telling me about his sister Delila.

"You invited Lila?" Jesse asked me.

He ran over to hug her

"Hey little bro." They hugged but then she went over and pinched Finn' s cheeks. "Cutie." She told Finn

"Where my future little sister?" She asked.

After dinner Lila barely spoke a word to anyone but Finn. "Lila and Finn are really hitting it off." I told Jesse.

"It's good, Lila is twenty two and hasn't even had a boyfriend. And Finn thought he got a girl pregnant via hot tub so they both need it." He explained, by the look on my face he continued, "and he lost you to me."

"That's better."

"When am I going to meet your brother?"

"Never. He's been in and out if rehab for three years. I don't want you to be anywhere near him."

"Jesse?"

"We're going to leave now this night has been a huge waste of time. I hope your happy son. And you Mrs Berry, you are not good enough for my son. And let me get this clear that baby does not have our support."

"Frankly dad we don't need your support. I love Rachel, your completely uninformed

"You really hit it off with Lila." I started talking to Finn. "Yeah we actually have a date Friday." He said

"That's good I'm in a relationship and you will be in one soon." I told him

"It was a couple days before nationals and I invited Jesse to come over." I told the story of how I lost my virginity. "Go on I want to know all the details." Tina said. "So you know we just reconnected a couple of weeks before, we both agreed it would mean nothing. So he made dinner then we watched funny girl. Halfway through watching it, I became determined to have sex with him. So I started making out with him. Then it just happened. He was hesitant to go all the way. But I knew I loved him even if It wouldn't last." I finished

"What happened to the protection?" Santana drilled me.
