Meeting Silver the Hedgehog

The sun slowly rise to the sky as the ray hits the face of a certain golden brown hedgehog. She groaned in discomfort as she burried her face against Infinite's side to get more sleep. Infinite felt the movement and opened his eyes slowly to see that Kath was trying to get back to sleep. He look around the room but noticed that a certain black and gray hedgehog was missing.

Infinite: Wonder where Mephiles went off?

Mephiles just exited the art supplies store as he had bought three bags of drawing materials which cost him about 300 rings. He slowly made his way back to the hospital since he still needs some time to get his powers back and that would take a month. He wasn't looking to where he was going before he bumped onto someone and the stuff that he bought were thrown into the air but were caught in a cyan aura. Mephiles groaned as he rubbed his head only to hear a gasp of shock. He looked up and was surprised to see that it was Silver.

Silver: M-M-Mephiles?! How are you still alive?! What are you doing here?!

Mephiles: Look, can you ask questions later? Right now, I need to get back to the hospital with those stuff that you caught.

Silver was a little confuse but gave Mephiles two of the bags as he carried one. He peered inside the bag and saw that it has 6 boxes of color pencils with different amounts and designs and textures with some pencils and erasers and three sharperners.

Silver: Um, why did you bought art materials?

Mephiles: It's a little something to someone that me and the rest was helping to heal and recover but I need to buy some fruits for her.

Silver: Mind if I help?

Mephiles looked at Silver and raised an eye ridge in curiosity.

Mephiles: Why?

Silver: Well, you can't carry all of them so let me help. I'm kinda curious who you're giving them to.

Mephiles was a little hesitant but agreed since this might be a good opportunity for him to become friends with the psychic hedgehog.

They went to a food stand where Mephiles chose the bananas, grapes, mangoes, apples and oranges since there weren't any strawberries available. Silver decided to carry the stuff using his powers as they headed to the hospital.

The receptionist at the counter saw them enter and smiled to Mephiles who just nodded back while she saw Silver and waved while he returned the gesture with a smile. They got in the elevator and Mephiles pressed the second floor. The elevator stopped before the doors opened  as they exited. They reached the room before Mephiles knocked on it. They heard a muffled 'come in' before Mephiles turned the knob as they entered.

Scourge: Um, why is Weed-Head here and what's with the bags, Mephiles?

Silver was a little confuse before he layed his eyes on the figure lying down on the bed with Infinite stroking her head.

Silver: Is she the one who you were talking about, Mephiles?

Upon hearing the sound of his voice, the hedgehog slowly opened her eyes before they widened slightly upon seeing Silver. Silver couldn't help but stare back curiously as he saw that her eyes has a golden shine to them mix with a brown shade. She looked to the bags before she perked up completely when she saw a sketchpad sticking out. This caught their attention while Mephiles just chuckled seeing that she wanted to see what he bought so he took one of the bags and took out a sketchbook making the girl's eyes to twinkle excitedly as she let out a weak mew kind of sound as if saying that she wanted to use it. Mephiles took out a sharpener and sharpened one pencil and got an eraser and a box of color pencil. She was grateful for it as she flipped the cover while Infinite helped her sit up properly since her legs were shaking. She thanked him while mewing weakly as she then started to draw. Infinite was amazed at how fast she can draw one of their enemies-seen-acqaintances. She then erased the sketches before making the drawing more alive as she drew Shadow the Hedgehog perfectly. She then took out the color pencil and started to color it carefully while trying to smoothen the color. About three minutes, she was done and showed it to Infinite, who was impressed.

Silver: Wow. Who knew that she can draw that fast? And it looks a lot like Shadow too.

She just look down shyly and they noticed a tinge of rosy pink on her cheeks as if she was embarrassed or flustered by the comment. This only made Infinite to chuckle softly as he stroked her head gently causing the girl to mew quietly which only confused Silver.

Silver: Can't she talk?

Mephiles: I'm afraid not quite. She almost killed yesterday at the No Zone causing to scream loudly so she won't be able to talk for now.

This made Silver to look at the girl in pity as she drew on the second page.

Infinite: What are you drawing, Kath?

Kath looked at Infinite before looking at Silver and Mephiles. Infinite was confused before Fleetway knew what she was trying to say. He snickered before taking a deep breathe and teased the two.

Fleetway: Silver and Mephiles sitting in a tree

First comes the love
Then comes the marraige
Then comes the baby in a baby carraige

This instantly got a result as Silver blushed a bright red as Mephiles was blushing as well which caused Infinite to chuckle as Scourge and Fleetway was laughing their tails off as the girl just smiled cutely at the two making their blushes to deepen. Silver then remembered something as he let out a yelp of shock.

Silver: Oh Chaos! I totally forgot about the hang out!

This caused them to look at him in shock. Kath just eyed Silver as she wanted to meet the gang. She let out a whine of dismay as this caused the group to look at her.

Silver: Does she wants to come?

The only responce was a nod and smile. Infinite then left the room and told the doctor that they will leave which was alright with him. Infinite returned to the room to see that they were ready to go even the girl was mewing softly while Silver was playing with her ears that flicked away everytime it was touched.

The nurse gave Infinite Kath's clothes earlier since it was covered in blood and was repaired. Kath saw the clothes and smiled as Infinite gave them to her. She was about to take off her hospital gown but blushed a bright pink when she remembered that she wasn't alone. She glanced at them when Infinite sensed the message and told the others to get out. They all nodded and went out as Infinite closed the door. Kath just sighed in relief before starting to take off the hospital gown slowly since she was still a little sore.

The others just waited paitiently before Infinite knocked on the door but heard a thud and a yelp in pain. Infinite quickly opened the door and became worried when he saw that Kath was trying to stand up while holding the sketchbook. Kath struugled to get up only to squeak when she felt two arms pick her up. She look up and saw that Infinite was looking at her with a smile which she returned only to smirk when she saw that the sketch landed on his head. Fleetway got the ones that she used before heading to the first floor. Mephiles signed the check out papers before they were allowed to leave. The sun blinded her a little before she blinked and let a smile to decorate her muzzle at the sight of Station Square.
