Shadow was outside the door to the room that Kath was sleeping in. He was told that Kath always gets extremely shy and timid when people compliments her so Shadow wanted to see if it was true. He was a little nervous but he breathe in to calm down and opened the door to the bedroom. He was relieved to see that Kath was still in bed sleeping.

He approached the bed and observed the sleeping beauty. She was hugging the pillow while nuzzlibg into it. Her scarf and vest were hanging on a bedpost and her boots were near the bed. He then noticed that her ear twitched and she blink her eyes open to see Shadow.

Kath: Morning, Shadow.

Shadow: Morning, Cupcake.

This made Kath to sit up in a jolt with a clear blush on her muzzle all the way to her ears making Shadow see that it was true.

Kath: Why would you call me that? You know I'm always shy if others calls me with a pet and cute nicknames. I just don't like it.

Shadow couldn't help but blush when he saw her pout and it was so cute and adorable.

Shadow: I almost forgot.

Shadow then brought the tray and set it down on her lap as she stared at it in surprise before looking at Shadow, who look away shyly while scratching his cheek which she found cute.

Kath: You did this for me?

Shadow: Well, Mephiles, Infinite amd your father suggested that I make you something that you like and he said that you like the pancakes that tastes like waffles also fresh orange juice and some fruits like apples and mangoes and I-

Shadow was cut off when he felt a pair of soft lips kiss his cheek gently making him to look at Kath in surprise, who pulled away and look down in her hands that was between her legs with a huge blush on her cheeks.

Kath: That's super sweet of you, Shadow. I always believed that you would have a soft side and now I see it.

Shadow just smiled softly as Kath started to eat. Kath was done in a few minutes after drinking the orange juice.

Shadow: Um, Kath?

Kath looked at Shadow while finishing putting her boots on as she put on her vest.

Kath: Hm? What is it, Shadow?

Shadow was sweating nervously. He wanted to see if she would accept his offer or not but it was worth the try.

Shadow: Is it okay if I take you out tonight?

Kath: Like a date? As in date-date?

Shadow nodded slowly with a blush on his cheeks now realizing that Bernardo was right when he said that Kath would asked if it was a date and he got his answer and he got to admit.

Shadow: It's okay if you-

Shadow was cut off when he was tackled to the bed by a brown blur.

Kath: Are you kidding me?! YES! I WOULD LOVE TO GO OUT ON A DATE WITH YOU, SHADY!

Shadow just smiled widely hugged his girlfriend just as much as passion that he has.

They both let go eah other a few inch and stared lovingly at each other.

Shadow: I love you, Kathy.

Kath just giggled at the nickname as she nuzzled against her boyfriend's chest fur while purring softly.

Kath: I love you too, Shady. But what made you to ask me out on a date, Shadow?

Shadow: Because you're the music of my heart, Kath.
