Keith X Artist Reader {REQUEST}

YOUR POV

I was siting in my desk in my favorite class: Art class. This was my favorite because I have loved art since I was a little kid. It's my way of expressing myself I guess. I'm also the teachers favorite because I'm so good at it.

We had to do a project where we draw the person across from us. (At my school we sit at tables in art.) The only problem was the person across from was Keith Kogane. He barely ever talks to me which kind of hurts since i've known him for years. We went to the same elementary school, and used to be friends. Now the only problem is I need a reference picture so that I can draw him out of school. This will be embarrassing to ask him, but oh whale.

"Um Keith do you have a photo you can text me. I need a reference picture so that I can draw you later." As soon as I finished I blushed, and he gave me a confused look. Eventually he figured out what I meant, and got his phone out.

"Whats your number?" He asked calmly.

"(xxx) xxx-xxxx)" A few seconds later I heard a ding from my phone. I pulled it out of my backpack to see the text. I was not ready for the picture because it was him taking a mirror selfie lifting his shirt a little to show his abs. I started blushing a little when I looked at it.

"th-thanks." I said shyly still trying to control my blush. He smiled at me and nodded before he grabbed his backpack, and walked out of the class. Welp this will be interesting to draw.

TIME SKIP

I was sitting on the side of the parks fountain looking at my drawing so far. I wasn't doing half bad. It probably is one of the best drawings i've done. Maybe because I'm don't want to disappoint him? I don't know. I looked out towards the sunset when I felt a presence behind me. Before I could turn and I heard someone whisper "Boo" into my ear. I jumped and turned around to see who it was, and lo behold it was Keith Freaking Kogane.

"Keith what the hell you scared me!" I pretty much yelled right in his face. I could hear him chuckling, and that just made me more mad.

"I just came to see how you were doing on the drawing so far." He spoke innocently. 

"Well you don't have to sneak up on me!" I replied still shouting in his face.

"Sorry..." He muttered and then sat down right next to me. He looked over my shoulder to see the drawing. I heard him gasp once he saw it, and immediately got nervous. 'What if he doesn't like it. What if he thinks it's crap. Ahhh I can't deal with this!' I thought in my head.

"Wow (Y/N) You're really good at this." He stated truthfully. 

"Thanks it's not that good though, and it's not finished."

"What are you talking about it's amazing. You shouldn't put yourself down like that." I looked over at him, and started right into his violet eyes. They were mesmerizing I almost couldn't breath. We started into each others eyes for a little bit, and I noticed that he started to move closer. He slowly reached his hand up and tucked some hair out of my face. I started to shut my eyes seeing that his were barely even open. It felt like he was taking an eternity until I finally felt his slightly chapped lips on mine. It was wonderful he was so gentle, and I couldn't believe it was even happening. reluctantly we pulled away, and he just smiled at me. Something I rarely even got to see. It made me return the smile.

"(Y/N) i've had a crush on you for the longest time, but I just haven't been able to bring myself to tell you. You're such an amazing artist, and person so I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me tonight at 7?" He said nervously. I could tell he was nervous because he was fiddling with his fingers.

"Of course I can text you my address where would we go?" I asked. He stood up and grabbed my hand to plant a kiss on it. The action made me blush.

"That's a surprise." he stated with a wink. I blushed even redder seeing the wink. I went back to drawing once he left, and now I was even more excited to finish this art project. I'm so glad that I get to go on a date with someone as amazing as Keith. He is the most handsome person I know. Sure he has a rough background, but he still tries to get through everyday with a smile on his face. Art class was what brought us together.
