Keith X Reader: Love Bug pt. 2

(This is just a continuation of part 1 so read that one before you read this)

Your POV

After the whole experience from this morning I tried to avoid Keith as much as possible. I haven't seen him since this morning. I feel bad for hiding from him but I really don't want to deal with it. It's too much for my poor heart to handle! I'm in the kitchen chillin with Hunk right now, since he understands my predicament, when Keith just walks in, sits down right next to me, and pulls me on to his lap likes it's the most normal thing in the world! I squeaked and looked at Hunk with pleadings but he just shrugged and walked away! That's betrayal.

"I haven't seen you all morning.." Keith mumbles as he buries his face in the crook of my neck.

"Sorry 'bout that I've been really busy." I replied trying to sound as normal as possible.

"Is fine...just missed u...." I almost squealed. He the most adorable freaking creature in this entire universe! I tried to still my heart when suddenly the alarm went off, I jumped up and almost fell but Keith caught my wrist and helped steady me. I thanked him then ran the the bridge.

"What's going on!" I yelled bursting in the room. Everyone just looked at me like I was psycho. Apparently it was a false alarm. That's embarrassing.

"(Y/N) I actually need to talk to you real quick." Ok I tried to move but Keith grabbed my hand and would let go.

"Keith Allura needs to talk to me." I told him.

"No I don't trust her." He replied protectively. I blushed but got annoyed. Shiro came up to him and grabbed Keith dragging him away from me. I could hear his yelling all the way down the hall. My heart broke hearing hime like that but I knew I can't go to him since I need to talk to Allura.

"So what did you need Allura?" I asked her politely.

"We're gonna need to keep Keith locked up." Allura stared nonchalantly. I gasped. "Why?" I asked her hoping she was kidding. I didn't want him to be locked up. "I've been researching a bit about what happened to Keith and apparently since he's Galra he'll get more and more protective over you. There's a possibility he could even kill someone if we were to say hi to you. We can't have anyone getting injured because of this so we're gonna keep him in a cell in the dungeon. You won't be allowed to visit him tho because we can't have anything happening to you." "Keith would never hurt me. Or any of you for crying out loud. He loves all of you guys!" "Keith isn't himself right now though and we can't take any risks that could lead to a death of a teammate." I booked it out of the room to see Shiro dragging Keith downstairs.

I followed them all the way to the dungeon. Shiro locked Keith up then starting coming towards us. I quickly hid behind the pillar before he could notice me. Once he was gone I walked up to Keith's cell. As soon as I saw him I gasped. He was full Galra! He looked like a giant fluffy cat. He heard me gasp and turned around.

"(Y/N)?" He asked quietly then lunges for the bars trying to pry them open. Apparently now he has super strength because the bars just molding under his hands. He ran and hugged me tightly.

"K-Keith i ca-can't breathe.." "oh sorry." He loosened the group on me and I hugged back.

"I missed you so much (Y/N)!" He said lovingly while cupping my cheek with his palm. I hummed and yes and leaned in. I don't know what came over me. I felt like I was being mind controlled until I felt his lips touch mind. I kissed him back until he suddenly pushed me away. I opened to see him back in his human form staring at me with wide eyes.  He turned around and booked it back upstairs. I sat there staring after him feeling rejected. Why did he do that what just happened.

I walked upstairs to find Allura looking at me beyond pissed. "(Y/N) what did I tell you about going down there!" She practically screamed at me. "I'm sorry but he was suffering. I thinks he's fine now though because he kissed me then ran away as fast as he could." I unconsciously started to rub my arm. A nervous tick I picked up. "That kids must have broken the 'spell'. Kinda like true loves kiss!" She clapped excited. I thought it over and noticed what she meant. If that was a true loves kiss moment that means we're soulmates. Which also means he likes me back!

"Be right back Allura. I got to go do something!" I yelled as I sprinted down the hall. I swerved around everything and everyone as I sprinted to Keith room. Once I got there I put my ear to the wall and could hear Keith talking to himself. All i could makeup was him saying he's stupid which I believe is untrue. I opened the door and grabbed Keith's shirt pushing him into the wall. I kissed him on the lips passionately and got a reward when he kissed back. I separated and looked right in his eyes.

"I love you too idiot." I told him quietly and saw him smile softly. I kissed him again but this time more slowly. It was the best kissed I've ever experienced. I broke away to notice the dark circles under his eyes.

"You look awful let's take a nap." He grunted but followed me anyway. He laid down on the bed and I laid right next to him. He flipped so he was laying on top of me and buried his face in the crook of my neck. I started to play with his hair and almost right after I head him snore softly.

"Thank you weird alien bug for letting this happen because without you I wouldn't have a new boyfriend." I chuckled as I felt sleep grab at me. Soon enough I fell asleep too with my Keith in my arms.

Sorry this is a little rushed I felt bad for not posting and I didn't know what to write about because I've had writers block for awhile.
