Keith X Reader: Love Bug pt. 1 (REQUESTED)

Your POV

Me and the paladins were on a mission. We didn't need to wear our armor because apparently theres nothing on the planet that could be harmful. I had a hard time believing that, but oh well. All we had to do was help the natives. I wasn't paying attention on what we were suppressed to be doing, but I do know that this place is beautiful.

It looked almost exactly like earth. There were green plants everywhere, and random ponds. The only thing I didn't like were the bugs because i've never liked them. There are really icky and gross.

While we were walking I was talking to lance. Hunk and Pidge were in the front figuring out which way to go, while Keith was in the back being emo. Shiro wasn't here since he and Allura had another mission ( (; ) We had been walking for about 30 minutes so of course Lance started to complain.

"My feeeeet huuurrrt! Are we almost there yet?" He whined. "Shut up Lance!" Keith snapped behind him. I giggled and watched as both of them turned towards me. "So now your taking his side (Y/N)!" Lance dramatically put a hand to his chest and pretended to be hurt. I stated full blown laughing while tears were coming out of my eyes. I heard everyone else join in the laughter.

Keiths POV

I smiled softly when I saw (Y/N) laughing. What can I say I love that girl. I started chuckling since her laugh is contagious. I looked around and saw everyone else laughing with her. I was so caught up in the moment that I didn't even notice the huge butterfly thing land on my neck.

"Uhh...Keith there's a huge bug on your neck." Pidge pointed out. I went to slap it away, but before i could I felt a sharp pain on my neck. I groaned as I fell to my knees with my head down and my hand holding the bite. My vision was blurring so I scrunched my eyes shut.

Once I opened my eyes I looked around everything felt normal until I saw (Y/N). It was almost as if everything blurred except her. There was worry evident in her eyes. I softly smiled at her.

Your POV

"(Y/N)..."

My eyes shot wide when I heard Keith say my name. He said it like he adored me which was way different then normal. I focused on him more and noticed his eyes turned pink. I walked towards him and squatted in front of him. I put my hand on his forehead to feel if he was sick. I watched him lean into the touch like he's never been touched by anyone before.

"How are you feeling?" I put my hand on his cheek, and he tilted his head and leaned into the touch.

"Better now that your by my side~" He replied lovingly. I looked back at everyone, but they looked just as confused as I felt.

"Ok...well we better get going." I held out my hand to him, and he gladly took it. After I helped him up I let go of his hand and turned around. I caught a glimpse of a pout when I turned around.

"So what do we do know? Somethings wrong with Keith, and I really don't want him to die anytime soon." I stated to everyone else.

"We should probably head back to the castle, and talk to co-" Pidge was interrupted by my squeal. I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around my waist. I could feel hot breath on my ear as a toned chest was pressed against my back. "Please stay with me." Keith whispered in my ear. My face turned completely red. I felt like a tomato. I could tell everyone else was confused.

"OKAY KEITH, GUYS LETS HEAD BACK NOW!" I said a little to loudly for it to not sound suspicious.  They all agreed and we started to head back. The whole journey back I felt a pair of eyes on me. I didn't dare turn around knowing it was Keith since he's the only one behind me.
