PART 4: "Thoughts"

Hey everyone, thank you for your patience. I know it's been a little while longer since the last part and I apologize. Just thought busy with stuff and trying to balance out this as well as Harley & Ivy. I am spacing out the parts too so it's more anticipated with every new release xD

Thank you Phinbellafan94 for a little idea for this part in which I've extended on into a fairly interesting plot point so hopefully you all enjoy. Check out his Phineas and Ferb FanFiction in the comments below if you haven't already, that would be amazing!

Sam slowly opens her eyes, feeling rather warm but content. After a few seconds, Sam noticed that the storm didn't sound as intense as it did the previous morning. Sam stretched a little and then smiled instantly when she saw and realized Luna were sleeping on her side facing her and is fast asleep with a small smile on her face. She were so close to Sam that she could feel her warmth. Sam could just lie their forever. Sam sighed softly as she stared at Luna sleeping peacefully. 'I am the luckiest girl in the world... I can't believe the most amazing, most beautiful girl in the world likes me' Sam thought to herself with a smile.

"I'm flattered dude" Luna said suddenly with her eyes still closed. Sam's smile instantly disappeared and her heart literally skipped a beat in terror. "W-what?" Sam stuttered. Luna opened her eyes and a grin spread across her face. "You heard me!?" Sam exclaimed, blushing like crazy. "Duh, it's hard not to hear you when you say it out loud" Luna replied, holding back from laughing. "I-I didn't say it out loud!" Sam protested, her cheeks getting redder by the second. "Pretty sure I heard you dude, and judging by your face. I'm right" Luna teased. Sam didn't say anything but just covered her face from embarrassment. Luna just started to laugh as she rolled onto her back and placed a hand to her forehead. It wasn't long before Sam started laughing. She couldn't help it, Luna just made her so happy and warm inside. It may sound corny but there were no other way to describe what Sam felt when she's around Luna.

After laughing what seemed like forever, the pair eventually calmed down and were on their backs with smiles on their faces. "So, what's the plan for today?" Luna asked, breathing heavily. "I don't mind Lunes" Sam smiled. She grabbed her phone and checked something. "Say's here that the storm has almost passed and by the afternoon, it'll be gone from here" Sam revealed, putting her phone back down. "Really? That's sweet!" Luna replied but then her face saddened. "Yeah..." Luna said quietly. Sam looked at Luna and noticed her sad expression on her face. She knew instantly what was wrong. "Just because the storm is ending, doesn't mean us hanging out is over" Sam reassured with a warm smile. Luna looked at Sam and smiled. "You're right" Luna agreed and smiled at Sam. "I've uhm... I've had a lot of fun these past few days Luna" Sam shyly commented. "Me too" Luna replied softly.

Sam looked down at her fingers as they played with the material of the sleeping bag. "I was kind of worried you would get bored of me after spending a few days with me" Sam admitted in a quiet tone. "I could never get bored with you Sam, I've had so much fun hanging out with you and getting to know you. The real you" Luna replied softly, blushing a little at her own comment. "You mean that?" Sam asked. "Totally dude" Luna smiled. "In that case... I feel the same too Lunes" Sam told Luna. They smiled at each other and hugged.

Sam closed her eyes and Luna did the same, feeling content in each other's arms. The hug lasted for a few moments before they pulled away from each other with smiles on their faces. "Hungry?" Luna asked. Sam nodded at Luna in reply. "I'll get us some breakfast" Luna revealed, getting out the sleeping tent. "How sweet of you" Sam winked. Luna laughed and left the tent.
