Who knew a two-week relationship would hurt him badly? Well, Donghyuck definitely didn't know.

He got inside the campus looking like he cried all night, which he actually did. His hair was greasy and a mess, his face was swollen from all the sobbing, and he had dark bags under his eyes. He felt miserable and he didn't even bother hiding it.

What's more odd? This isn't the first time he went through a break up. Maybe third or more, Donghyuck lost count already. One thing his past relationships have in common is not being able to last long. One month at max. Donghyuck got tired of that kind of set up. He didn't get why he was cursed to be in this kind of situation. It's not like he was toying with them. In fact, he's serious in all his relationships. The problem would always revolve around them not being compatible, not working out, or cheating— which this two-week relationship has done.

Such a bummer. For a moment there, Donghyuck honestly thought he finally found someone he'd last long with.

"Hey!" A tone of annoyance was heard which snapped Donghyuck out from his trance. "Watch where you're going!"

Internally groaning in frustration, Donghyuck wanted to be badly eaten by the floor upon seeing whom he bumped into while he was spacing out. Among all the students he had to encounter on this gloomy day, life just had to make his day worse by making him cross paths with someone who is quite popular around the campus because of his hot temper.

Mark Lee.

"I'm sorry." Donghyuck uttered out quietly. He was surprised to hear himself, noticing that he's losing his voice from all the sobs and cries last night.

"If you're going to apologize to me then say it out loud so I can hear." Mark glared at him, judging the male's state as he eyed him from top to bottom. "My uniform is a mess because of you!"

It was then that Donghyuck noticed the coffee stain on the student's polo. Great, today just had to be the day that he gets to be a victim of this guy's temper.

"Can't you speak?" Mark purposely provoked him, wanting to see how someone with a bright personality would get mad. "Want me to spell an apology out for you?"

The two of them locked their gazes and it was when Mark noticed how swollen this guy's face was. It looked like he cried a bucket of tears last night. The sight of Donghyuck's state took him aback because Mark was used to seeing him always smiling and laughing. He got used to hearing his lively voice and seeing him in a happy mood most of the time. Even when they interacted before, Donghyuck would treat him nice and is always unfazed by his temper. Mark would often give him an attitude, but the latter would most of the time not mind and still be in a playful mood.

It was contagious and Mark, at the end of the day, would end up smiling about it.

However, Donghyuck looked different today.
